Re: No Manners!

What was she doing wrong?

It all boils down to an individual, most men I’ve come across are decent and helpful, will hold the door open, carry my bags etc…and some won’t.

Clear example–on my flight to Pakistan, one uncle takes out my bag and puts his own there. After I gave him a verbal beatdown (oh yes Shaniqua was out in full force), the guy standing next to him put my bag back in there. Towards the end of the flight, I asked someone to take out my bag for me…so yeah, some guys are decent…

Re: No Manners!

In Pakistan, it is too risky to show such kind of gestures to women. Most probably, the woman will get offended if a stranger holds a door for her. And if she is not alone, it could mean trouble for anyone who tries to show these kind of "manners".

Re: No Manners!

Yep you are right.

Re: No Manners!

This reminds me of my last trip to Pakistan........ my parents live in a high-rise building and there are only 2 elevators. So I got into the elevator with my brother and daughter.... 2-3 men were behind us, they stayed outside and didn't come in, after keeping my finger on the open button for several minutes I realized they were waiting for us to go. I said "aap log aa jayein, koi problem nahin hai" ..... they looked surprised but grateful and said thank you. After getting off, I asked my brother why weren't they getting in and my brother goes some aunty must have yelled at them or something for getting into the elevator with her :p

Re: No Manners!

Pretty girls?

LMAO!

CM surprised me with true gentlemanly behavior bit
maybe you only see that with the 1% of pakistanis priveleged to go to
near IVY league type schooling institutions where it is their WESTERN education that teaches them to be gentlemen.

Again, you people delude yourselves into thinking this 1% represents Pakistan. You go to the airport and stand in the non-VIP line and see how
many men cut in front of you. I had to physically drag a jaahil kameena out of the line when he cut in front of me. That's how bad it gets.

And your anti social engineering type geek desis are the worst.

Re: No Manners!

^PCG… that is not limited to men.
I’ve seen **high-class highly-educated **females pushing each other and cutting in line everywhere, especially when I go shopping in Pakistan :hinna: .

Re: No Manners!

What more respect you want us to show you women??

All you ABDC chicks.. you dont know what the hell are you talking about.

PCG :smilestar: when white dude take you to dinner he also secretly buys mint and some other stuff… if you know what I mean.
Don’t come back complaining.
