Punjab govt to contact SC on gas crisis: Shahbaz
LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said that no issue will be discusses with President Asif Ali Zardari and his government will consult the Supreme Court on gas crisis in Punjab, Geo News reported Saturday.
CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif along with his delegation reached Lahore from Turkey via Dubai. The plane could not land on time at Lahore Airport due to fog and was delayed by 1.5 hours.
While talking to media, Shahbaz told his visit to Turkey was of great importance in the backdrop of foreign investment in the transport sector. He told that metro bus service with the help of a private Turkish bank will soon start in many cities of Punjab including Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Multan.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the provincial government will soon go to the Supreme Court over the prevailing gas crisis in Punjab and that no issue will be discussed with President Zardari.
The CM Punjab told that solid waste management machinery will soon reach Lahore from Turkey and the project will also be expanded to other cities of the province.%between%

Addressing a public rally in Khanpur Maral near Multan, Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani said that conspiracies have been hatched against the democratic government for the last four years but democracy was not harmed due to the coalition partners.
**The prime minister said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto strengthened the country by making the constitution and our government will bring about a revolution. **The PPP government will overcome energy crisis within months, he said.
**He said that PPP government will give the Seraiki people their rights by making their separate province. PM Gilani said that the perception is wrong that his government doesn’t want to make Seraiki province.
“We rather strengthened the provinces by giving them autonomy. Zulfiar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto can be killed by their ideology cannot be finished and our party is fulfilling the promises of both the leaders which they had made with the people of Pakistan,” the PM added.**
The PM vowed to overcome gas and electricity crisis very soon. At the end of the rally, he also cut the cake for the 84th birthday of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

Homes at 90% cities of Punjab .
Homes at 90 % cities of Baluchistan have never seen their gas.

Ask this question to 4 million people of punjab who have become jobless during the recent crisis. As far as I am concerned the government gets taxes from the industry if it will kill the industry it won't have revenue to provide utilities to even the 10 % people in balochistan (and the rest of Pakistan too).
As far as the People of balochistan not having gas is concerned what has peoples party done for them, they have been in power for over 16 years during the past 40 years?

Only if this gas-load-shedding was to divert gas from Punjab to people from Baluchistan then I would have appreciated your comment but here it seems you have different agenda.

Gas load shedding is natural agreed, but what about gas management and utilizing proven reserves lying unused? That was something the government could do but they didnt owing to the pressure from LPG mafia. This incompetence of the government you cant blame on Pasha, army etc.

I am not sure about gas but as far as I know electricity loadshedding is every one now except the residences of President, PM, Governors and CM houses.
