Bhai Yazdi: When bread on table start getting reduced or when corruption and nepotism starts showing in society then brothers start fighting brothers and ‘sprite of sharing and tolerating’ dies. In such situation people start talking about mine and theirs. Cure for such evil in a country is to economically grow fast, stopping corruption and stopping disease of nepotism.

As for problems in rural sindh, it is nothing to do with shortage of funds/resources. There problems can only get solved when people in interior Sindh would stop giving votes to feudal landlords and start electing people from amongst themselves who are socially and economically like them. When feudal landlords become their representatives they steal all funds/resources meant for their constituencies, and like to keep their voters deprived, exploited and hungry (actually, in most cases, it is the one they elect do most atrocities on them and keep them deprived and exploited). So, regardless of what happens to oil, coal, gas or other natural resources, situation of interior Sindh would never change until people change themselves by electing right representatives.

As for electricity, there is no shortage of electricity in Pakistan. Only problem is funds that is needed to clear debts and initiate generation of electricity. Unfortunately, even if present government would have funds, it is unlikely they would spend it to increase electricity generation as they prefer to steal those funds than use it to ease electricity problem in the country.

MNAs/MPAs elected from the rural constituencies of rural Sindh do not buy this gas at dirt cheap prices to run the captive power/fertilizer plants. Mainly this exploitation is being done by powerful industrialist lobbies hailing from karachi/Punjab. This policy was started by illegal President Musharraf.. and continued by our present Sindhi boss who is getting his due share to continue with this policy.

So called Feudal land lords from rural Sindh who are attached to agriculture sector and are so much hated by you are paying nearly Rs. 100/ per liter for diesel and Rs. 1600 per bag for the fertilizer which are their main inputs..

It’s not a question of mine or their.. it’s a question about right or wrong..
