The problem with the English is they couldn't make their minds up if it was a moral problem or a safety one. The govt wanted it to be a moral issue, but the cricketers didn't want to lose out on playing in the World Cup so they tried to make it a safety issue. If it wasn't safe for England, then it wasn't safe for anyone else either - except everyone else didn't seem to have a problem.
That letter turned out to be a hoax. The England team were promised a level of security equivalent to that a Head of State would receive. I'm pretty sure the players wanted to go to Zimbabwe earlier on, but the govt started putting on the pressure and it turned into a safety issue all of a sudden.
These English gits should have used this occassion to go and do some good for the so called suffering whites in Zimbo. But no, they don't believe in it actually.
Oh come on guys, do you honestly think England would have lost to Zimbo? Don’t make me laugh!
First of all, the ECB had the cheek to hide the letters (which were genuine as far as the ICC are concerned). They then declined to support Hussain when he went to speak to the top dogs in the ICC. Infact, the idiots had the cheek to turn around and apologise to the ICC for the aggressive manner in which Hussain dealt with them – how’s that for a bit of moral support
And you guys can take the piss as much as you want - England are in 3rd place - having given up 4 points. Where are Pakistan ???
Sadi I would love to leave politics out if the English do the same.
Anyway, England came out as the benefiters against Zimbabwe becasue they would have lost the match anyway but now they don't have to carry a negative run rate which they would have had they played the match.

England has lost to Zimbabwe before so it is not that far fetched. As for Where England is and where Pakistan is in the table, you have got to see which teams they have played. Look at the table after England has played Pakistan, India and Australia.
Bull Shyte! There is no way on earth England would have lost to Zimbo. You guys are just looking for excuses cuz u can’t get over the fact that England are ahead of you in the table …
I’m actually quite happy with te way things have worked out. It’s as though a rocket has been places up Englands butt. I’ve never seen them play with such passion. My boys
The ICC said that the ECB produced no evidence of a threat to safety. Mike Holding legendary fast bowler dealt that bouncer straight to the heads of the fudging Sky tv crew and they didn't know where to put their faces.
Sobi, look at it this way, when Pak dump on England on Saturday, the English players will finally get to come home - so we'll be doing them a favour :)
Sadi, just to refresh your stale memory... let's go back in time... March, 1992. Venue: MCG, the real home of cricket as far as I am concerned... teams Pakistan and England.... need I say more?
Hang on a minute Xtremeo, I'm glues to Sky Sports 24/7 and I saw no such thing ...
I swear to God I so can't wait to see your faces on Saturday. The only team that might prove to be a little difficult to beat is Australia. Playing with you guys will be like playing with an after school club made up of 8 year olds.
Taking the piss out of the Gupshup boys will be almost as much fun as taking the piss out of my family :)

Freaking Hell Fungi, is 1992 the only thing you guys can talk about? Let's talk about the 1999 final shall we ;)

Yes lets talk about the 1999 final, where was England. Maybe I missed something but I always thought that the two teams in the finals were Australia and Pakistan and Australia won. So they came first, Pakistan came second as for England ...... well where were they?
