No England match in Harare - Official

There are nine test playing nations.

Australia, NZ, England, SL, Pakistan, India, Windies, Bangla desh and Zimbabwe.

The ones who have NEVER won the world cup are:

England, NZ, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. What a distinguished club of cricket playing nations England belongs to. :hehe:

The England team of 99 weren't as strong as the team of today. Pakistan on the other hand were the bet team there and yet managed to put up the worst cup final match I have ever seen - for any sport.

Rishwat eating? I think so! Atleast the English players have morals!!

They played badly that day (and Australia played well) but there's no proof that they took rishwat, so what's the point in speculating? Australia have been destroying many teams since that day (check England's recent Ashes results, or India's beating a couple of days ago) and not everyone who gets thumped gets accused of rishwat. On the day, we played bad and they played well. A few weeks earlier we had beaten them, these things happen in sport.

That has got to be the lamest comeback I have ever heard

Hardly worth waiting 50 minutes for

Well in that case England must have taken bigger Rishwat after the way they were humiliated in Australia recently.

Australia were the better team this summer, and it showed. Pakistan were the better team in 99, but it didn't show. It's as simple as that.

That has to be the lamest excuse I have ever read .

And you still havent replied to my post regarding the distinguish company English team finds itself with.

They will break this jinx this time…

I guess they were just unlucky… They have played 3 finals 75,87,92 which would be must better performance than many country except Windies and Aussies.

I think England have been taking a lot of rishwat for a while, atleast thats what their ashes performance shows. I mean really when was the last time they won the ashes.
They are so happy by that win against Holland cause they won by a whole 6 wickets and finished the match in less than 25 overs. How about the fact that Holland batted a complete 50 overs against them. With that kindda bowling I think Indian and Pakistani batsmen will come back in form and Australians will just improve their record and run rate a bit more.

AQ bhai the question than arises that if England were in three finals and never won any one of them, were they taking Rishwat and throwing the matches? :hehe:

Ha ha .. well none of those finals were one-sided… All of them were very close..

They were just unlucky…

We can blame Wasim Akram for the 92 final. Damn Akram.... had he not uprooted Lewis and Lamb's stumps England might have won that one.

True.

If Englaaand win on Saturday, I will support England throughout the tournament.
(which we all know England can't win, so it's not possible)

English are the biggest chickens I have ever seen. Even Nasser Hussain is the biggest wuss in the country. "Look at me, my name is Nasser, and just because I lost a game, im going to quit captaining.. blah blah"

If everyone else can go to Zimbabwe and play, how come not England? Does the cup of tea taste a little bitter over there? Zimbabwaens hate fish and chips?
It must be because the English are allergic to the Sun.

Even Canada can whip English butts. If anything, England has ruined the game of Cricket.

Not true, Pakistan might placed higher in the points table than Australia but Australia were the best team of the tournament and they won because they were the better team.
