No England match in Harare - Official

booo hooo

p.s: :D

Let's begin England's Mental Disintegration from today. England, we will knock you out of the tournament!

Piss off Xtreme and Fungi. England will still get through, inshallah. Did you see Hussain at the press conference this morning? The passion in his voice nearly brought a tear to my eye :( He's the best thing that's ever happened to English cricket, and the idiots are gonna make him resign. I'm behind him 101%.

Bring on India.

Down with pakistan.

Sadi, you might wanna find out the nearest ER phone number in Cape Town, as your Hussain might need it on 22nd when Pakistan will be done with them

Ahmedjee, let's just wait till the 22nd before we go ranting off about exactly which team will be 'done with'. If England lose, it will be because of their morals whereas if Pakistan lose, it'll be cuz they're a crap team.

I just can't wait to see my family's faces when Namibia kick some paki ass :p

Sobi,

I’ve got something special planned for you when we kick Engerlund’s arses all the way back to Heathrow. Make sure you don’t run away next week :hehe:

Hussain’s a wa*ker. If they don’t want to play in Zimbabwe he should shut up, stop crying and accept the loss of 4 points. They’d probably have lost to Zimbabwe anyway, so it’s not that big a deal.

Get yer bags packed for next Sunday Nasser, you’re going DOWN :stuck_out_tongue:

These English sissy boys haven't played a single match yet and we are into the 7th day of World Cup.

That dumbass captain of England needs to be kicked back to Engurlund.

I don't understand why the hell the Poms whine so much. I mean it's not like they're gonna go past the first round as usual. So who cares whether they play Zimbo or not?

My boys won't let me down. I just spent £40 on an England top so they can't let me down. This game wasn't about cricket, it was about morals - a battle between good and evil, right vs wrong, and regardless of how much you guys deny it, you know what England did was right and that losing those four points was gross injustice.

We could have won Zimbabwe with our eyes closed, but winning isn't everything. The english cricket team have morals, and they understand that life goes beyond winning games and making money. Pakistan could learn a thing or two off the English captain. Maybe then they'd stop taking rishwat and put a bit of passion into the game.

To the whole England cricket team, Sobi salutes you.

To the whole Pakistan cricket team, lay off the booze tonight - you got a big match coming up tmrw ... :)

Yeah injustices... 10% of the population owning 80% of the land in a country which has 90% Blacks. You English Schmucks love to go to a country, take-over and live off other people's blood. Payback time. If England is so concerned about human rights violation, may be they should break up relations with Israel.

And the sad fact is that people like sobz will never fit in. You will always be a furner.

sobi ur precious cookie-dunkin mama boys would have only been docked 2 points instead of 4…only if they brushed their crusty teeth, but they appealed to that as immoral too. Bunch of inbred rednecks.

Aint it funny that the only people who've told me that I'm not English and so I shouldn't support England are Pakistanis. How strange ...

I could spend hours discussing how Mugabe needs his head smashed in and how two wrongs don't make a right, but then we're meant to be discussing cricket (though I'd love to continue this debate in General or World if you'd care to open a thread ...)

back to the cricket please people ...

Sadi Sobi, India, pakistan, Australia have already agreed to play in Zimbabwe. So there is no excuses of safety concern. If they are so concern they shouldn't be playing their remaining 5 matches in South Africa as well because of small terrorist attacks in parts of S Africa.
So far the ECB has yet to come up with a strong appeal, so ICC did the right thing by giving them points.
I like to know what you think about this issue, since this has to do with cricket, I don't see why Ehsan bhai shouldn't allow this.

How many of the above named teams received death threats (hate letters) threatening to kill every player that steps foot in Zimbabwe? None.

England had a genuine reason to ask for the game to be moved. Surely the lives of the players are more valuable than the short-term problem of having to rearrange a cricket match. Not according to the ICC. It's all about politics and beurocracy, so why should the team have to suffer?

Well Australia were encountered with something very similiar and they also had this thing with Zimbabwe for the past year or so but they have quite down and are willing to play cricket in Zimbabwe.
About death threats, this isn't something new, before every Indian tour the Pakistani cricket team recieved death threats from hindu extremists but they always go and play their without any harm.

The problem is that these idiots in ECB think that they are better than the rest, just because of the majority of ICC are english, they think things will go their way.

They have yet to come up with a strong appeal. Unlike England, Austrlia and West Indies had very good reasons not to travel to Sri Lanka in the 96 WC, but still Sri Lanka were given 4 points for 2 games.

It has been proved that the death threat letter to the English team was a hoax.

That was a try on by the English cry babies anyway. Scotland yard had told them sometime ago that the letter was a fake. They will try any dirty trick to get things going their way. :nook:

Willey Won't Go

English umpires Peter Willey and Neil Mallender have refused to officiate their fixtures in Zimbabwe.

ICC has made arrangements by sending a Kiwi and Pakistani umpire. I wonder if the Kiwi will feel safe ;)

Urm where the hell do you guys get your information from? The reason the cricketers made a big deal out of these death threats was because the ECB didn’t tell any of the players about the death threats till they’d got to South Africa! The letters had been sent months ago, yet the players were only told a few days before the match … put yourselves in their shoes, how would YOU feel?

And by the way, the letters were 100% genuine.

And yes I have no doubt teh Kiwi umpire will feel safe as he’s not the one who’s had the death threats sent to him

Those lazy yellow teethed umbrella carrying lazy bums at ECB need some big time asswhoopin'.

They should take the blame and resign immediately. I knew Tim lamb had something up his....................sleeves.
