“Main Niyyat Karta Hoon 100 Acre Zameen Ki, 6 Commercial Plots Farz, 2 Residential Plots Wajib Wastey apni family k, Muu Mera D.H.A. ki taraf: Allah-O-Akbar”.

You won’t believe that this joke has origined in junior army officers and i got it in email from a friend in army

Re: Niyyat of a General

Unfortunately, i do believe you!

Because this is what we see with our own eyes!

Re: Niyyat of a General

All of us are hypcrites.....if we were to be given such power we would have abused it too.....we are no angels...and we need to stop pretending like one too......... all those ppl who r dissing army and musharraf would be the 1st one in line to secure their and their family's future while they can being in power......
we are the same people who were against Benazir and nawaz sherief..... but what happened..... those two incredible icons of pakistan history will be back and we wil again vote for them too........so why such big Hoo Haa now...

Re: Niyyat of a General

-ditto-

Re: Niyyat of a General

speak for yourself :disgust:

Re: Niyyat of a General

watever dude

Re: Niyyat of a General

I saw rockwood estate with my own eyes as well, pretty large and posh. hey like over 4 million pounds gets you something nice.

its not just military though, not that I have ever been convinced that colonels kids in boston driving prosches are able to afford that on daddy's salaray, even posted on that subject years ago. The politicians are just as guilty.

but forget politicians and military, look at civil services and how customs and police work is like a lottery for many:)

the whole place is messed up in terms of corruption. 90% plus ppl dont pay taxes, that just tells you how honest the nation is overall.

PS: rockwood estate is known as surrey palace in pakistan :)

Re: Niyyat of a General

Its so painful...its so painful.....

Our greatest junior officers which comprise of 5,00,000 armed forces..and professionaly...the best in the world...and few Generals...in thier greed...and hawis....bringing bad name to pakistan Brave Army....

its o sad for all of us.....

Is their any chance of internal coup...by some real and patritic professional Corp Commanders ???

Re: Niyyat of a General

not true I have met corrupt COD majors types too.

Re: Niyyat of a General

^^ corrup can be Second Lt...but i am talking about majority...as General affects the whole chain downward..while Major cannot...have such so....

Re: Niyyat of a General

why single out generals when police and customs jobs are like lottery tickets, and 90% of the nation does not bother to pay taxes.

corrupt leaders of a corrupt qaum.

Re: Niyyat of a General

Dont forget that you also are from same qaum....living in States cannot change your roots*....so the same rule also applies to you !!!!*

Some leaders are corrupt...and some are liars...and kill 655,000 in Iraq by lying about "Sulimani Topi Walai WMD's"....

atleast our leaders are not Bloody Draukaulas !!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Niyyat of a General

There are no victims here. People deserve the leaders/policy-makers they have. Given the opporutnity, most Pakistanis will themselves do similar things.

Re: Niyyat of a General

yeah 90% ppl not paying their taxes and making BS excuses about it just shows how honest the nation is as a whole. ppl are looting based on their reach, power and access.

ppl stealing electricity, water, ... are robbing the country one way, ppl not paying taxes are robbing another way...black marketers another way. etc etc etc

Re: Niyyat of a General

There is nothing special about Pakistani qaum. They are a disappointing lot without any where-with-all to effect a change or reform themselves to help the country. On top of that, Pakistanis are greedy and selfish to boot. Other than a small minority of people doing anything useful for there country, a majority of people have no sense of community, community service or civic duties. When was the last time you read about a Pakistani top-student-turned-teacher teaching society's downtrodden to beat the IIT exams? BBC news covered an Indian tutor who was accepted to the Cambridge University but couldn't afford it. The man started his own school in rural India to teach society's poorest to beat the IIT entrace exams. Pakistanis can learn a LOT from Indians across the border.

Re: Niyyat of a General

^^Fraudz....Actually Dishwasing and gas Filling station **can give our Pakistani **MSc...6 dollars per hour...unfortunately...Pakistan ...even in "honourable" job cannot give much money ...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So no room for taxes ..... i think clear...

Re: Niyyat of a General

this is because our cream of engineers ..doctors ..MBA ...after eating 24 years Pakistan and receiving evertyhing from it....escaped like prisoners ...to West....
and then start doing lip-service for betterment of society..!!!!!!!!!!
Greed of money...and luxurious life ...just allow them to dance thier fingers on keyboard...without any real solid service for thier dear homeland...

Re: Niyyat of a General

Surprising to know it originated in the junior ranks.
Every 2/Lt joining any Army dreams of progressing to the highest rank one day and acquire the honour and privileges bestowed along with it.
This could have been coined by some junior officers sidelined for promotion…?
Because every officer who joins the army gets a portion of his salary reserved for residential purchase upon retirement. The land, size and location varies from rank, service, officer quality etc. All this means that even a 2/Lt with 6 months of service thinks about the plot he will be able to purchase with that amount upon retirement, because a portion of his salary goes to that fund. On retirement, an officer has the option to cash that in exchange for a plot and reimburse any differences from other savings etc. That’s how most officers are involved in this land scam if you may call it. Some bad are a norm in all sections of society.

Let’s talk about the *‘niyat *of a tax chor’ for a chnage…

Re: Niyyat of a General

True!

Re: Niyyat of a General

People leave because they lose hope in a country comprising of a greedy, backward mullatic majority. Talent and intellect are a terrible thing to waste in the dirt and mud of jihalat, corruption, and religious/ethnic bigotry.

PS: It's the "escaped" ones who return and invest financial and intellectual capital in the country that can't really help itself.
