I think it shouldn’t be banned because there are many sisters who before converting to Islam were indulged in drinking, clubbing, drugs etc and they don’t want to be recognized by their old associates, so it should be allowed for that reason.

I think it should be banned. By muslims anyway. It’s not part of our religion. You wanna wear hijab, go right ahead. But no reason to wear a niqaab. Especially with the security situation now, people can masquerade easily as innocent women under them.

you misunderstand. what if some snooty frenchie decides your desi body looks like its hiding a ton of explosives by the shape of your jeans from behind. and decides you cant wear them anymore unless your body fits a french mold. are you going to take that lying down pal?
