I think Niqaab should be banned.
1) You cant pray with it on
2) Whats the need to draw so much attention to yourself in the western countries wearing a niqaab. Surely the whole idea of wearing it so that you dont have attention.
3) Isnt wearing the Hijaab more practical living in the western countries rather than the whole niqaab?
4) This is Great Britain (and other western country), No one is gonna stare at you if you dont wear your niqaab/Hijaab, This is not like the third world countries.
5) Please can i know as to *why *people wear the niqaab, When your not *allowed *to pray with it on??
i voted yes,.. off course niqaab/bhurkha should be banned. I don’t see a reason why a girl should wear one, or koi mujey samjha dey.. (please no pakeezgi, aur na-mehrm lectures) !

Why is everyone assuming that women dont want to wear niqab and its something that is forced on them? I know many who wont step out of the house without one though even their hubby wants them to stop wearing one

I voted no. If it's a question of women's rights then they should just let the women choose if they want to wear it or not.

If naqaab should be banned, bikinis should be banned too. Agreed? Great! We have a deal!

What's the big deal about wearing niqaab if someone is perfectly comfortable with it. Those who aren't don't have to wear it.

I think it shouldn't be banned because there are many sisters who before converting to Islam were indulged in drinking, clubbing, drugs etc and they don't want to be recognized by their old associates, so it should be allowed for that reason.

i understand they are brainwashed from day of birth for the "fazeelat" of wearing burkha, niqaab - so it's in their physic they can't live without it, they feel unconformable & threaten morally & religiously. For this i would recommend opening up "back-to-normal schools" just like Pak Army open such schools for brain-washed suicide kid's in Swat/FATA.
But for the sake of future generations, this un-human man-made thing should be buried in the past.

Great idea, instead of banning naqaab, allow it on special designated places only for example beaches, parties, special clubs: Hot Niqaab Club etc..etc. :k:

When this couple from britain got arressted for having intercourse on a beach in Dubai, we did a essay on rights and wrongs and why it was right. I said because their in a muslim country they shud respect the laws they have and shudnt have done that. And same goes for people here in britain its british laws. If a woman went to saudi in a bikini or pakistan or anywhere they wud get arressted and god knows what else.
So whys it ok for muslim women to wear niqaab in britain? Why? Can you pray with niqaab? Who said you shud wear niqaab? Who exactly is gonna stare at you or God knows what if you dont wear it?
