Why do women wear niqaab? Where does it say in Islam you should wear it? If you cant pray with it on.. What exactly is the reason?

Firenze, you are an intelligent person (this is a serious compliment). I cant believe that you also go with 'majority rules' philosophy. Majority can rule by force, but that does not mean that majority is always right.
i am not insulting any sister. Simple asked a question, lets suppose if i am a new Muslim and found/accepted the true religion. I should have enough guts to look into people eyes and say hey.. this is the true religion which forbidin (all the stuff your right up their)

TLK Bahi, i feel threatened & worst when a lady with a burkha thinks she is most "pakeeza" person on the earth, and rest of the ladies (ami,sis) are doing haram so probably will be landed on hell.
That was one, now here is another. I think both of us privileged in the sense that we are well educated and having good jobs and living in west too. In all the year from birth, to school, to college, to uni, to job, to fun , to family, i never see a a problem for the lady who don't wear niqaab/burkha. But yes i do see some raised eye brows who wear them, why is that? it's because this practice or this thinking or the persons who live in their own utopia of religion .. is belong to those only, who left suppressed by society, cultural or other man-made thungs
Oh “Islamic Land” is found? when ..where, are you joking? Or you are also betting like most of the us that we will make west Muslim land

Holier than thou attitude is found on both sides, but not always. I have come across people with beard who are way more humble than some clean shaved once.
My mom does not wear niqab but that does not mean that those who wear niqab are either religious fanatics or brainwashed maids.
When this couple from britain got arressted for having intercourse on a beach in Dubai, we did a essay on rights and wrongs and why it was right. I said because their in a muslim country they shud respect the laws they have and shudnt have done that. And same goes for people here in britain its british laws. If a woman went to saudi in a bikini or pakistan or anywhere they wud get arressted and god knows what else. So whys it ok for muslim women to wear niqaab in britain? Why? Can you pray with niqaab? Who said you shud wear niqaab? Who exactly is gonna stare at you or God knows what if you dont wear it?
