Firenze, you are an intelligent person (this is a serious compliment). I cant believe that you also go with 'majority rules' philosophy. Majority can rule by force, but that does not mean that majority is always right.
TLK Bahi, i feel threatened & worst when a lady with a burkha thinks she is most "pakeeza" person on the earth, and rest of the ladies (ami,sis) are doing haram so probably will be landed on hell.
That was one, now here is another. I think both of us privileged in the sense that we are well educated and having good jobs and living in west too. In all the year from birth, to school, to college, to uni, to job, to fun , to family, i never see a a problem for the lady who don't wear niqaab/burkha. But yes i do see some raised eye brows who wear them, why is that? it's because this practice or this thinking or the persons who live in their own utopia of religion .. is belong to those only, who left suppressed by society, cultural or other man-made thungs
