sara_87 If you belived all life your life then it is advisable that you continue believing so, because in your country, you have to do it whether you beleive it is optional or compulsary. So better be at peace with your heart and mind 
Save this argument for later part of your life. But keep in mind one thing :
whatever dress code you reckon is most suitable for you, and you choose it for yourself (on your free will ) then the intention should be to please your lord , and not the whims and desires of men and society around you.

This is pathetic to call someone lame who is trying to find God’s ruling on a matter. You are suggesting her to follow the people around than knowing what’s actually the command of Allah:swt: and Rasool:saw: is… and by saying further that since it is compulsory in her country, so she should do it regardless of knowing what’s the verdict, you are suggesting that you do not believe it to be compulsory… Back it up with Quran and Hadeeth or is it also the whims and desires of people living around you?

i believe it depends on what school of thought you follow...correct me if im wrong. If i remember correctly Hanafi school of thought believes that it is wajib.

but seriosuly, there is significant differences that exist between diff schools of thought so how could it be 'required'

From Soorah Ahzaab. First I had no clue that if it is compulsory or not. So I searched it in Qur’an and found the verse. I think a single verse is sufficent for a true believer.

saaf chuptay bhi nahi or nazar atay bhi nahi lolzzz

i dont know who’s translation you are reading…but the Quran i have (Yusuf Ali’s translation is very well known) makes no mention of covering the face in this ayah.
in the footnotes Yusuf Ali mentions that “outer garmets” is being referred to as the “jilbab:an outer garmet:a long gown covering the whole body, or a cloak covering the neck and bosom”
once again i dont see any mention of the face in this ayah.
however according to different schools of thought i recall reading that hanafi’s believe that it is required but the others do not. Therefore perhaps it depends on which school of thought you follow?

1.It is not only the traslation I have read. I have read a numorous traslations of this verse.

n well i was not thinkin of taking it off or anything…i love it…n can never think of taking it off…weather compulsory or not…
the reasin i was asking was 'cause when a few ppl say ke it is not compulsory n start arguing…kumseykum i should have enough knowledge abt it…

Could you post the reference to this verse, because the verse in Surah Ahzab that you referenced says Jilbab and not Royatika.
