We do #3 in my family and I love it like that and how all the men come up and hug the groom, it always makes me teary-eyed. I remember watching my parents’ wedding movie and when everyone came to hug my dad, it made me all teary-eyed looking at him w/ a big grin on his face. My parents got married in '90 so it’s kinda recent.
