Morning shows are now very critical. Nadia Khan who considered founder of morning show culture was kicked out by Geo Network, when she broadcast the Dubai based businessman and Noor’s personal fight on air. Since then, she is living in exile.
Shaista Lodhi who was replacement of Nadia Khan , did the mistake by on airing and waving shoes on famous poetry of Fatima (RA). She has now facing blasphemy charges in courts of Gilgat, along with Veena and her husband.
Nida Yasir, who is currently associated with ARY Digital Network, and running Good Morning Pakistan. She is touching her career’s height, but in her recent show she went too low and make fun of Shabir Jaan who has two wives. Nida Yasir asked several personal life question, and Shabir Jaan answered them accordingly, but the format of show was not respectful and Nida Yasir made allegation that those answers were not right.
You called guest in your show, and then you don’t take their words. You should banned from morning show.

You don’t need to discuss one’s personal life to challenge them. That is called parahy likhay jahil or educated uneducated.
What is the theme of morning shows in Pakistan? I invite you in my show, and then insult you or asking personal question, and then telling you that you gave me wrong answer.

Do we know his reasons for taking on a second wife? Perhaps his first wife was okay with it. I know of marriages where the first wife is both aware of the the second marriage and openly accepts it. If Shabbir Jan'a wife was formerly against it, perhaps she has made her peace with it now. Perhaps he tries his best to be fair with both his wives. Maybe he manages to be decent husband to both wives than many men who cannot respect their one and only wife. Yes, polygamy makes many people... even Muslim women... uncomfortable. Few Muslim women would be willing to share their husbands and I am among them. But despite this, he has not committed a sin from Islam's perspective.
Nida Yassir, despite being in the entertainment industry, does not live with Shabbir Jan 24/7 to know how he leads his life....much less the Guppans of the forum.
No person is a saint. One's gunaah's shouldn't be publicized....much less their actions which Islam has made permissible even though they are not popular in the world.
I was watching a Nouman Ali Khan lecture once where he said that Allah gi es us the advice to give people their due; to not shortchange them. The example he used was that of our professions...to do our jobs honestly and with integrity. If we transgress the rights of others in our profession...those earnings become tainted. So if Nida Yassir earns her bread and butter by shaming people, then that's not something to be proud of nor should such behavior be encouraged. It's always "funny" to mock/bash someone until you find yourself on the receiving end of the same treatment. And Nida Yassir herself should recall the times when she has been shamed by the media.
Inviting a "guest" only to strip them...is appalling. We belong to both a religion and culture that values tahzeeb and showing hospitality to a guest...and honoring a guest. To shame someone on national TV is not reflective of the sunnah...much less culture. It's basically called kisi ko "nanga" karna....and while that might boost the ratings of the morning show as well as the spirits of the feminist lot......it comes with a price. Mrs. Yassir needs to consider the quality/merit of her own actions.
I've always been annoyed by her "sweet" persona. The icing on the cake was she called a girl a kusra after her make up had been done on the show. I think I opened a thread on it at the time...

but Nida Yasir's morning shows should be broadcast as "evening shows" and not morning ones. Like who does hair and makeup in the morning? shouldn't it take the format of current news and stuff like the UK ones such as BBC and ITV?
But then again the culture of Pak is v diff where most ladies (those who stay at home) lives revolve around weddings, hair and makeup and latest celeb gossip.
tbh i watch her show sometimes and her personality is so off putting. Like already mentioned she seems a tad jahil, all over the place and a bit in your face.

Tbh she shouldn't be blamed. What if it was the producers that told her to do that. She's only the presenter after all. Yes, she comes close to crossing the line sometimes but I don't think she's entirely at fault here. She looked quite upset.

Exactly the opposite how Sanam baloch welcomed Tariq Aziz on her show.He was touched by the warm welcome she gave him.That's how you respect legends.
I felt like shabbir jaan was about to cry when he said Itny saal me ny showbiz me jhak mari hy.His contributions for pak showbiz was not acknowledged but the main focus was to extract some juicy gossips out of his personal life.Itni akal to honi chahye samny kon betha hy or wo aap ki kitni fazoliat tolerate kr skta hy.

Yes, you are right that she may just be following the orders of the executive producers....so she can't be entirely blamed. However, she's not entirely free of blame either. Nida may not be the producer, but she and the producer have one thing in common: They both want high ratings for their show and Nida knows that success of the show will help her image as well. If even for entirely selfish reasons....she should think about what image both her show and she will have among the masses for openly embarrassing someone. I have 't watched the segment...I find morning talk shows annoying in general. However if it's true that Shabbir Khan told her to stop talking or enquiring about an aspect of his personal life then it's wrong for her and the producers to persist in making him feel uneasy. The guy has a family...maybe he has kids...nobody wants their family-lifestyle judged so openly. These producer walay and their hosts...have families as well.
Is it only me who thinks that the whole thing looked quite staged to me?
And Shabir Jan and his wife Farida have been constant attendees of this circus. Surely, he would know by now that such is the regular format of these shows.

You have to watch the entire show. Shabbir insisted multiple times that Nida refrain from asking such questions.........but Nida laughed off his requests. Even Saud was getting uneasy from the drilling Nida was giving Shabbir.........but again Nida laughed it off.
Nida could have changed the direction of the show.......its not like the producers held a gun to her head.

Whatever the situation or circumstances may have been, the underlying fact is that no matter how blunt it comes across, Pakistan is a developing country where the people can be (as @SummerFruits mentioned before) a bit jahil, and differ in the way they handle things as opposed to the western world.
Not saying at all that all pakistanis there are jahil, just handling techniques and professionalism differs from country to country.
