Aray bhai, itna to hame hasao nahi!

haha…we’ll c who gets the last laff

its all fixed i tell ya…toronto takes the next 4 :stuck_out_tongue: :hehe:

DM, you rock! (Even just for saying that.)

muahahahaha

^ I hope that's you practicing for the big win (by Leafs).

wow…the sharks take a 3 - 0 lead in the series over the avs :o

that has to be the biggest surprise so far…avs were surely a fav to win, and now they are down to a do or die situation in the next game…

Woohoo!!! :bhangra:

These Sharks have made me proud. What a team! So under-rated and such a wonderful Playoff season :k:

faisal it's not that the sharks is a great team, it's just the Avalanche have choked. It does not matter even if you have high profile players such as sakic, kariya, forseberg..if they don't have chemistry as a team then they are doomed. Wait till your Sharks meet the real team such as the Red Wings..then you will see some real hockey..

Yea right! Sharks didn’t win. Avalanche lost :stuck_out_tongue:

One has to be a darn good team to win 4-1 in first part of Play offs and then be 3-0 in Semis. You can’t be in this position just by opposition chocking :hehe:

Anyway, good luck with Canuck’s next year. This year their season ended rather quickly.

oh canucks suck too..i knew that from the very beginning..but i don't think Sharks are that great of a team....considering the amount of talent and experience of Avalanche..I think it's the apposite, that colorado are not up to the task, and that's why they are unable to win....but all sharks are just a fish and a cinderalla team..we'll see you in the next round against detroit..

Well, news flash… no one in San Jose expected Sharks to get to this point… so its not that we’d be sorely disappointed if they don’t win the championship. This is a young team that had a lousy last year and had a lousy start to the season this year too … But are playing brilliantly currently.

Its a very under-rated team, just as you are also implying and, believe me, most experts I read are as flabbergasted about their Playoff performance as you are and trying to find blame with their opponents. :hehe: Even the local experts are scratching their heads. So you are most definitely not alone. Conventional wisdom suggested Avalanche will roll all over them. Conventional wisdom is proven wrong. :stuck_out_tongue:

Nabokov is a gem, much like Giguere. DAMN he must have had 70+ saves in this series.

SHARKS remind me of MIGHTY DUCKS last year. No one expected them to reach the Finals of Stanley Cup when they did. I don't know what the heck has gone wrong to All-Star lineup of AVALANCE. They better find a way out, otherwise, they'll be swept!

well you see there’s some experience behind conventional wisdom. Ideally, Avalanche should have been able to put the Sharks away in less than a 6 game series. You have a team with high caliber players, but they don’t necessarily make it a good “team” together. Avalanche tried to do the same as the Rangers did, by signing up Kariya, Selanne, and that turned out to be a bad thing for the team. I think Avalanche was a great team as it was a year ago with players like Roy, forsberg, and Sakic, and they still would have been better off without the new additions even after the retirement of Roy.

Playoffs is a crunch time and the intensity is a lot different than the normal season. It’ never surprises me if the 1st ranked team is knocked out by the 8th ranked in the first round. It happened to Detroit last year, and the team which knocked them out was no other than the Mighty Ducks lead by their captain then, Paul Kariya..

If Detroit knocks out the Flames, which I am sure they will, then Sharks do not have a chance, since Detroit just have a lot more depth and experience, and they have great team chemistry, and on top, my NHL’s most favorite player, steve yzerman is clicking on full cylinders..so let the Sharks enjoy until then.. :hehe:

As I said before, we are enjoying it as long as it lasts :hehe:
Jalnay walooN ka mouN kala :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway, its how you play the game on the day that counts. No team can win matches just based on “experience” and “high calibre” players alone. These players have to perform too, you know.

canadiens looked better today, but unfortunately not good enuf to put off tampa...tampa won todays game 4 - 3 after the game went into 1st OT period...so the lightning have taken a 3 - 0 lead in the series...

and calgary fought back the red-wings strong today, winning the game 2 - 1 and also taking a 2 - 1 leadin in that series...

Damn the Canadians look like they are so done. Oh well, wha tcan you do.
but what about the Flames, F ing amazing. What a performance. man they have so much heart. They never stop trying. All this with Reinprecht, McAmmond, Warriner, Gautier, Lyndman injured. Unbeleivable. I am a big fan of this team now, even though they play a kind of boring style.

Good luck to Leafs tonight. I think they are gonna need it.

Sharks are playing tonight as well. I don’t think they will be able to wrap it up tonight… but it will be a fun game :k:

Muaaaaaaahhhhhhhh! :hehe: The Lightening Strikes. And this time in the backyard of the Canadiens.

I saw the sudden goal and the one goal that tied the game in the last 10 seconds of the 3rd qtr by Tampa Bay. That was sensational! Canadiens thought that they had Game 3 but they never knew Lightening could strike any time.

I’m sure now, they do. :hehe: :k:

Beginning to agree with those GTA guppies who have always said Jose chokes in a crunch game. Every one of TB’s goals could have been stopped by a better golie. Particularly the last two goals. Again HAB’s D sucks big time and they are sloooow compared to TB. Often they are the thrid on the puck. You got teo TB guys on the puck before a Hab shows up. No way they win the fourth game. TB are taking puck away from habs like candy from a baby.
