Flyers, Red Wings, and the Avalanche wrapped up their respective series with wins, moving on to round 2 of the play-offs…
Flyers beat last yrs champs, the Devils 3 - 1…
Red Wings knocked out the predators from contention with a 2 - 0 victory…
and the Avs beat Dallas 5 - 1…
and a tough tough nite for the western canada teams…calgary lost to vancouver 5 - 4 in the 3rd overtime which leaves that series tied at 3 - 3 as well…decider for that will be on monday as well…
tonite once again, the leafs VS the sens…leafs are leading the series 3 - 2 and can take it home with a win…the sens however, are not gonna make it ez for them and will give it all they have to force game 7…if the leafs perform like they did in the last match, then for sure, victory will be theirs :k: GO LEAFS GO!!! :bhangra:
The Sens have forced a game 7 in the series by beating Toronto 2 - 1 after the game had dragged on into the 2nd OT period…Sens really showed some spirit in the 3rd period when toronto was leading 1 - 0 and chara made the goal that tied the game for ottawa…well played by both sides :k:
belfours unbeaten shut-out streak had lasted for 117 minutes in this series…this has been the lowest scoring series in the playoffs so far, with only 10 goals each for the sens as well as the leafs…the sens have out-shot toronto though, almost havin 200 shots on goal, and toronto only having about 115…so Ed Belfour has had his work cut out for him…
can’t wait for game 7 in the air canada centre now on tuesday…

I support the Sens despite all the persecution I have to take from these rowdy Toronto fans. but I shan’t (I just love this word) be silenced. one :k: for me.
In fairness of teh situation, I think calgary should have put Vancouver away during the last game. They came roaring back after downed 4-0, and then in the OT, missed close calls.
The thing which really sucks about the Canucks is that no one knows which team is going to show up each night. It has great talent but lacks focus...let's see what happens tonight...
goin on to round 2, facin tampa…i hope they beat 'em 2…they surely have a streak goin on here, lets hope they keep this winnin spirit and use it to their advantage :k:
