dude in the playoffs you need to be hitting or else you will be left behind! just look at the first game between penguins and sens... then look at the second game, Crosby go into the action. plus playoffs is where the real skills come to play!!! there is stick handling and skating, you just have to look for it.

lol, once in awhile you need big hits to put some pressure on your opponent.
I think you don't know much about hockey, not everyone is hitting. Teams have
players who give some extra pressure to the game.

Flames come back in the series against the Wings with a 3-2 Victory
Lombardi scored the opener. Draper tied it @ 11:30 in the second period.
Draper scored again after 39 seconds in the third period.
Dion Phaneuf (CGY) was hit very bad by Dan Cleary (DET) who assisted on
Draper's goal after Cleary's Big Time Hit. Dazed & Confused Dion had to see
the 2-1 lead.
The Flames came back, though.
Giardano scored a Powerplay Goal and tied the Game @ 2 just 4 minutes later.
Iginla finally sealed the deal after a shot over Hasek's shoulder which was also
the Gamewinner.
Rangers lead series against the Trasher 3-0. Nylander scored a Hat-Trick. Callahan scored
his first 2 Goals in the Playoffs. Rangers won the 7-0. First Playoff shutout for Lundqvist.
Minnesota is keeping the hopes alive. Despite falling back 0-3 in the Series the Teams showed
morale, heart and encouragement against the Ducks in the 4-1 win @Minnesota.
After Pronger scored the opener on the Powerplay for the Ducks the home team had been booed out very bad. The Wild's were watching the celebrations with empty faces. No one expected them to come back, but they did so and won the game 4. Next Game @Anaheim.
The canucks have good chances to advance into the next round. They slip past Stars 2-1 yesterday night
in Dallas. Now the Canucks lead the Series 3-1 and will play Game 4 @Vancouver on Thursday, 19 April.
The Senators also are dominating the Pens. They have now a 3-1 in the Series after beatiing the young team in their own building. Game 5 will be held on Thursday, 19 April @ Ottawa.

The Flames will beat Red Wings and advance into the second round. I see no chance for the Wings. even thoguh the series is tied @ 2. The Wings never made it to the next since 2002. I don't know what the heck is goin' on with this team. At home they play like magicians and in Calgary they play like small kids...
I expected a 3-1 lead, but the flames came back big.

Wings advance to the next round. Now it will be easy. I'd say Calgary is our most feared opponent and it was a good series. I'm lil' bit disappointed by the Flames, though. They have been outshut by the Wings in all six games.
Actually the Wings outshut every team, but the Oilers knew that they can stop the Wings only by blocking their shots. This was last year.
Kiprusoff faced 255 Shots in 6 games. Makes an average of 42,5 shots per game. Rhett Warriner of the Flames said we lived and died with our Goalie.
True. Kiprusoff is a awesome Goalie.
Anyway, the Flames are out. Let's move to the next round.

I predict that the Wings will come back harder. Sharks are a Team to stop when you take out Thornton and Marleau. Both have magic hands and can control the puck very good + they have speed. Both play passes you just have to tip in.
Somehow many players are playing under their level. Draper, Maltby, Markov, DATSYUK for example. The Problem with the Wings is, they let block their shots way too easy. San Josè made 13 blocks yesterday.
This is the reason why the Oilers won against Detroit last year. Block their shots. Block their shots you heard players shoutin'...
Red Wings will bounce back, though. I'm sure...

Red Wings beat Sharks 3-2. Datsyuk scored the game winner with 1:24 left in the 3rd and last period. Now the series is even. Sharks will host the Wings in San Josè
on Monday for Game 3.
