NFL 04/05 Season

Re: NFL 04/05 Season

patriots..what a team

so which two teams will meet at the superbowl?

Re: NFL 04/05 Season

Congrats Sherzaz. Im so f* disappointed at Colts. They choked once again. Manning is a freaking joke. Colts are held to a season low 3 pts, no freaking TD.

Pats should win against Steelers, cos Steelers looked weak playing Jets. That kinda performance by Steelers isnt gonna be enuff to beat the Pats man.

For Superbowl, here are my picks: Eagles vs. Pats. Guess who is gonna win niggroh? McNabb and T.O (yep you know damn right he gonna play if Eagles make it to superbowl, even if he has to play with one leg)
OK now you all can go an regurgitate on this.

Re: NFL 04/05 Season

OH MY
patriots totally undressed indy
and macnab on beating defenseless viking goes like there is fire in my eyes
hahaha
i hope he be able to c through that fire coz falcons gona blitz the shiyt outa him.

high-tech - you can't even take a joke? darn!!!!! hahah Falcons blitz - bring it on...do you know Vick's stat under Jim Johnson defense huh?

hmm so i went 3-1 - that's a improvement from last week's prediction - i shouldn't have made the prediction on Indy- - New England game.

All Tony Dungy talked about bringing defensive set of mind last year - well where was the defense? All of those records Manning set this year didnt amount to anything - Spending a gazillion dollars on your offense isnt going to win you anything - Offense sells jerseys - Defense wins championship! - Now the Colts are in a situation where they almost have to let Edgerrin James go if they want to think about improving the defense - i thought re-signing Marvin Harrison to such a contract was dumb then - and i still think it's dumb now after Reggie Wayne was a non-factor in a playoff's game.

It's funny that Tony Dungy went from Tampa Bay where he lost two consecutive times in playoff thrashings to the Eagles (last meeting was 21-3), to Indianapolis where he can't get past the Patriots (last meeting was 20-3) - on both teams he had one really strong unit - and an average at best unit that was weighing the other down. Coincidence? i think not.

Can I ask a simple question.. what was the Rams strategy to stop the Falcons run game? The linebackers were way off the line of scrimmage, the defensive ends weren't keeping contain on Michael Vick - and the defensive tackles were getting thrown.

The surprise in this game for the Rams is Kevin Curtis - he looked a ton better than I thought he was. He was destroying DeAngelo Hall out there - But that could only go so long with that offensive line.

The Jets defense outplayed the Steelers - I'll say that but they could only hold up so long when the offense couldn't get any completions in the 10-15 yard area. Like I told my brother when i was watching the game - it's great to throw deep to stretch the defense but if you're not going to complete them, they'll almost instantly stop respecting the deep ball.

It was a game of the week - I think it's the first game i have seen when a team gets that many non-offensive points and loses.

Eagles won the trip to the NFC title game for 4th consecutive year - woohoo - Freddie Mitchell came up big time - i am not a big fan of him but what he did this Sunday made me believe in him more - i always thought Eagles took the wrong choice by selecting him in the draft over Chad Johnson...

Jermaine Mayberry did an outstanding job on Kevin Williams - Lito's played pretty badly, missed tackles, played too far off trying to bait Culpepper

Westbrook as expected was awesome - i was just wondering where Donovan was going with that ball at the end of the half - i wasy shocked Reid didn't go with the field goal there - Oh well the Eagles got the ball to start the 2nd half - and it didn't really matter to haunt back Eagles.

Re: NFL 04/05 Season

Welcome to the Eagles bandwagon Talha :p

unless Chiefs bring some guys on defense - Eagles will be my team - and it looks like for a while since they have lotta money left in the salary cap - Donovan has been my QB ever since he stepped into the league - throw T.O in there you are in a ride of your lifetime!

plus Philadelphia is the city where fans have been waiting on championship in all major sports - and its Eagles who got the solid chance to end the drought.

Re: NFL 04/05 Season

picks for tomorrow: Falcons and Steelers :p

Re: NFL 04/05 Season

How Bout Them Patriots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: NFL 04/05 Season

yo..pick the eagles to win the superbowl hahahahhahahaha

Re: NFL 04/05 Season

Its clear that Michael Vick is not ready for primetime and Big Ben from Steelers is still a rookie even tho he had a wonderful season. In coming years he will learn to take a sack or throw the ball away instead of throwing 3 INTs like he did vs. Pats.

But how bout D Mac!

McNabb's stats for the game: 17 of 26 passes for 180 yards, 2 TDs. Passer rating of 111.1. He also ran a season-high 10 times for 32 yards.

After trying 3 times and failing, the monkey is off his back, as they say. Well done man!

Re: NFL 04/05 Season

okie dokie…go Eagles

After this game - i don’t want Derrick Burgess to go anywhere - he was a monster in this one. This was the first time in Vick’s careers where he’s faced two athletes with speed like Burgess and Kearse at end.

McNabb played a great game - after this game i have to say he is the best QB in the game.

It was magical. Donovan’s confident, the Eagles are hungry, and I won’t doubt them no matter who they’re facing…even if it includes the Patriots

Andy Reid and Bill Belichick getting a week off to gameplan is a football fans dream, because they are the best two coaches in the business.. I can’t wait. :smokin:

Re: NFL 04/05 Season

I have had it with the Patriots. Go Philly....drinks on me if Eagles win...LET FREEDOM RING!!!
