What do you guys think? I need a large selection of shadows so I can start diversifying looks and experimenting a lot.
The thing is…I don’t want to buy things I don’t need. I plan out my purchases so I am not stocking up on just “stuff” because I will be using this in my line of work. Everything I have needs to be useful.
Those of you who do makeup…what is a good palette to stick with? I have some neutral colors but need more and have to add color to them too. Deeper pigmented colors and neutrals that will be good for blending.
I saw the thread on Sleek and found really good reviews. I also found a 120 color NYX palette. NYX has been a good experience so far for me. But eye shadows are a different ball game altogether.

I have this, it’s decent quality, I use this for a lot of my makeup looks…there are so many colors, they’re pretty pigmented and the price is so reasonable that I can’t complain. Their 120 palette is the most popular, so for you, I would recommend that one.

^My best friend uses that. It's lasted her quite a long time and she gets a lot of good use out of it. Its really good for practicising/blending colour combinations with I would thing. Wouldn't use it myself cos I prefer more goldy/nude colours rather than blue/green/red eyeshadow!

Nyx singles are wonderful, but their palettes can be hit or miss. I have one of their carribean palettes and the I'm not happy with one of the shadows in there. You can also get the Coastal Scents 88 shadow palette.

Did you try the Wet ‘n’ Wild palettes? Comfort Zone, Vanity, Walking on Eggshells are all amazing and so buttery and smooth. I depotted mine into a freestyling palette and they are amazing!

Thanks! I love to depot things to prevent clutter. I have a Z Palette for my MAC shadows or singles from other brands. I use the one pictured for Wet ‘n’ Wild or similar. The palettes are handmade and are from the Etsy seller Anothersoul.

Its been great so far. They last and are high quality. I have no issues with them.
Their best feature is that they're so so so amazing for the price. I have bought all their shadows so far and am looking for one that I use quite a bit...don't wanna run out!
