Winning the prize by one would be the vindication of the world-view of the other for their mission was one i.e. propagation of the universal and eternal values of love and humantarianism ...great men never die (unlike those who preach the anti-values ...of hatred and communalism) ....they are discovered again and again...

Nobel prize is a political tool used by western goverments.. sepcaily america and uk.. and so is UN

many muslims in this world are leading researches, i know a lady in NYC.. shes studyin in NYC university.. trying to find out about brains.. how we can read them as a computer.. lik eu know. as an open book (most likely it will be used agsint muslims as well).. bt if she succeeds in her findings.. the UNIversity, her professor.. and America will be congratulated.. neva mentionaing shes a paki, a muslim grl.

So this nobel prize is a political tool.. i mean wat good has the Kofi anan done?.. hes the most corrupt person in that institutoin.. hes only there so the west can say.. hey look africans.. we got one of YOU's. to rule.. even he doesnt care about u lots..

Abdus-Salaam isn’t considered a Muslim by the current and immediate past muslim authorities. Who knows what his status will be in 10 years time…but that’s a discussion for Religion forum.

Let’s rephrase this matter as follows:

According to himself and few others, he IS a Muslim Nobel Prize winner.

According to current muslims authorities and their followers he isn’t.

Now let’s let this matter rest for now.

Shouldn’t you be proud that he is a Pakistani Nobel prize winner? So if a pakistani Hindu or even a Pakistani Ahmadi wins Nobel, you will not be proud of him?
