next muslim nobel prize winner

Re: next muslim nobel prize winner

Hate the sin, not the sinner  And no ur not a moron :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: next muslim nobel prize winner

Because in accordance to the views of main stream muslims, being a Qadiyani he was not a muslim. Simple.

Re: next muslim nobel prize winner

Anwaar, did you know that calling them 'qaidiyani' is deregatory... Its just like someone calling us a 'muslaa' or something... Dr. Salaam brought a Nobel Prize to the country, and how do you appreciate his work, by calling him a 'Qaidiyani'. Also, isnt Qudiyaan a city in Pakistan, so everyone from that city by your logic would be an Ahmedi?

Re: next muslim nobel prize winner

Let me rephrase:

Because in accordance to the views of main stream muslims, being an Ahmedi he was not a muslim. Simple.

Ab khush? hope, it's not hurtful now.

Re: next muslim nobel prize winner

Its not hurtful to me so stop acting like a TaukBaaz, I value Sir Abdus Salaam much more than someone like you. He was a brilliant Pakistani, and deserves respect.

Re: next muslim nobel prize winner

When did I disrespect him? He was an Ahmedi and I just stated a fact.

:flower1:

Re: next muslim nobel prize winner

Abdus-Salaam isn't considered a Muslim by the current and immediate past muslim authorities. Who knows what his status will be in 10 years time....but that's a discussion for Religion forum.

Let's rephrase this matter as follows:

According to himself and few others, he IS a Muslim Nobel Prize winner.

According to current muslims authorities and their followers he isn't.

Now let's let this matter rest for now.

Re: next muslim nobel prize winner

What prize?

These prizes require health, education and justice.. do we have atleast one of them in abundance? We are hardly surviving.

Innovations require social security and peace of mind, hassle free lives and favorable circumstances.

Prize or no prize that comes later… maybe we are unable to set our priorities? For how long are we going just dream and dream only? Why dont we practically move a step forward in right direction?

Re: next muslim nobel prize winner

Qadiyan is a city in Indian Punjab. District of Gordaspur.

While A-Salaam is Pakistani and be respected as such he is not muslim by any stretch or imagination.

Re: next muslim nobel prize winner

Pathetic how you people talk about Abdus Salam... Let me know when even a single one of Pakistans Sunni or other community recieve a noble.. Pakistanis are such fools. You live in the shadow of the one great Scientist of world remown that Pakistan ever produced and all you do is bring up his relgion and try to denounce him... Half of the country cant write its own name and you people are off worrying about the guys relgion.. Idiots!

Re: next muslim nobel prize winner

Re: next muslim nobel prize winner

Abdul Ghafar Khan, that noble soul, surely deserve noble prize for his humanistic values and relentless and agonizing struggle for justice, democracy, and human rights...they'll be soon releasing a documnetary and feature film about his life and struggle in North America and Canada.

As for Science, Muslims so far haven't developed any philosophical or scientific system...

Re: next muslim nobel prize winner

There are some good human beings to have him nominated for noble prize posthumously.

"Abdul Ghaffar Khan was one of the greatest practitioners of nonviolent resistance and humanitarians of the twentieth century but few people have heard of him—even those from the part of the world where he lived and worked and strived for peace, independence, and the dignity of the people. He has been called the "Frontier Gandhi,“1 in Afghanistan he was called Fakhr-e-Afghan (Pride of the Afghans), and was known to many as Badshah (leader or king) Khan.”
