Newly converted couple stoned to death

Allah is most powerful. He has power over our intentions, our decisions, our actions and the consequences of our actions. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, out of the knowledge, power and will of Allah. We should have full faith in this and should never think that there is any person or being who has power over and above Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. The Qur'an teaches us that "There is no power except through Allah." (al-Kahf 18:39) "…The totality of power belong to Allah… (al-Baqarah 2:165) We always say, "La hawla wa la quwwata illa bi-Allah" (There is no might and power except through Allah.)
Allah has created this world with cause and effect. He has placed in this world some laws. Some time people call these laws the laws of nature but actually they are Allah's laws in nature. Allah has told us that we should learn these laws and should abide by them. If we ignore these laws we shall see the consequences, unless Allah grants us protection, for a wisdom or reason that He knows best.
Just as Allah has placed some laws in nature, He has also made some moral laws and has taught us these moral laws through His Prophets and Messengers. It is our duty to live by these moral laws also and we should maintain law and order on this earth. Allah has told us that those who violate His moral laws should be punished. Thus murderers, thieves, fornicators, adulterers should be punished, because they violate Allah's moral laws. They cannot make an excuse that they had no control over themselves.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala knows how much control every person had over his/herself and the consequences of his/her action. His final judgment will be according to His knowledge, not according to our knowledge.
We should pay more attention to learning Allah's laws in nature and using this knowledge for our benefit and the benefit of humanity. We should also learn Allah's moral laws that He has given us through the Qur'an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad -peace be upon him. We should try to live by these rules in our individual and collective life. We should not indulge in the questions of why did Allah do this and why did He not do that. Rather we should have trust in Allah and live our life in obedience to Him.
This world will be a much better place to live when the whole human race becomes muslims.

blackzero,

This is what you said in your most recent post to me:

"What i said was that - there is nothing in Quran which states facts which are in contradiction to a hadith in the subject of salat-

I had used it as a comparison.. and I am glad you agree with the fact that quran does not contradict salah.

But as i said before.. Quran has prescribed a punishment for 'zina' and as the hadith is saying something which goes beyond that then the question of validity is raised."

My dear blackzero,

1)RE: Salah:
Again, the quran does not, NOT discuss the structure of the 'contact prayers'; a case can even be made that there is no mention of 5 times of salah in the quran; though extra prayers are mentioned.

Now, here's the intriguing aspect of the salah. The quran says that the salah, fasting, zakat, haj - all came from Abraham.

The people of pre-Islam Arabia (idolators) used to perform the salah in exactly the same way as Prophet(SAW) & the muslims did with the exception that the Islamic salah had the sura fatiha added to it! Everything else stayed same as the salah of pre-islam perforned by idolators.

3) RE: ADULTERY
Your statement that quran prescribes 100 lashes and NOT stoning for adultery insinuates that the Prophet, Companions, Caliphs down to muslims of to-date are in violation of the divine injunctions of the quran because they have stoned to death the adulterers rather than follow divine quran.

Pick up this matter with your alim and see how he reacts!
