Of course I know the ADAMJEE PAPERBOARD MILLS of AMANGARH, NOWSHERA quite well!!! In fact just very recently I met AMEEN MUKATY who once lived in Amangarh...which is very close to Nowshera. His brother Taufique--having initially lost his leg----lost the battle to gangarin and left this world some decades back. He was a wonderful wonderful person I know of...and he and Ameen including their sis Nisho were a part of our group (my cousins at Nowshera and my elder sister) during our vacations at Nowshera.

It appears the trajectory of the nation was changed, we became much more polarized on all counts, sectarian, ethnic, liberal/conservative etc in just a matter of a generation.

NOWSHERA meri school days vacations ki yaadon ka aik ahem markaz rahay ga..kiyonke hum bohat saaray cousins bohat ziyada united aur aik tthay aur woh zamana bhi aisa hee thah..aaj kall ki tarah nahin ke sirf shaadi biyah mein cousins waghera nazar aatay hein...aur waise ghayab. Hamare zamanay mein EMAIL or INTERNET nahin thaah... magar khat-patr jo ten se chaar din mein deliver hota thah...wohi khandaanoun ko qareeb rakhta thah...aur bohat kuch.

Raju Uncle, people still move from one party to another after 12, however you are right since we tend to decide now on staying at one place after 12am instead of going to to new place unless and until he party becomes boring.
