Another new year what are your New year fitness resolutions
Re: New year fitness resolutions
get those muscles back and stop eating like a hobbit. Just hit me yesterday that I lost muscles .. however that I had left anyways. At least my brain is buffed up or so I would like to think.
Re: New year fitness resolutions
Gain 4 KGS , get slight muscles on arms and a flat tummy.
Have at least 1 healthy meal/drink in a day.
Re: New year fitness resolutions
Get back into the habit of daily morning walk. It's quite refreshing as the air early morning is the cleanest.
Re: New year fitness resolutions
Waking up in the morning is a nightmare for me :hinna:
Re: New year fitness resolutions
Sometimes, it is difficult for me too especially these days because of winter. If you get into the habit of sleeping early then it's not difficult. I got used to this routine because of my father. Then it changed when he left. Now Im trying to get back to the habit. It is also easier if you ensure to wake up for fajjar. And thinking of how refreshing it is to inhale the early morning clear air is quite a motivation.
Re: New year fitness resolutions
No matter how early I sleep , I won’t get off bed before 11:bummer: I wake up for fajr and sleep after praying .
Re: New year fitness resolutions
Try drinking 2-3 glasses of water after or before fajjar and dont take any caffeine after 1-2 pm because too much caffeine in blood keeps your body muscles and mind alert not letting your brain and body muscles relax even if you have had slept several hours after taking caffeine. When your body has taken the rest it needs, it should not be very difficult to start your day early. But if your body is tired, drained of energy, has not had sufficient sleep (Usually too much quantity of caffeine in blood is the cause) then it might be difficult to stay awake after fajjar.

Last 6 months have been a wash. Fresh start.
Re: New year fitness resolutions
my friend, she was a personal trainer before school and she still workout like crazy. I texted her and she agreed to help me get some muscles. I think doing it with someone else is more effective than going solo
Re: New year fitness resolutions
I don't believe in making resolutions anymore. I feel that sometimes the things that we spend so much time mentally planning don't get done.
Re: New year fitness resolutions
Don't spend so much time planning how to get ur hands on Brussels PF

You're assuming there. I didn't spend any time mentally planning it. I wanted something, I went to get it. I got to it; I didn't overthink it.
I would like for myself to be regular in my prayers and I personally think that rather than exerting so much mental energy planning for it, best to not overthink it...just accept that it's something that has to get done and get to it. I think with new year's resolutions people tend to get so excited thinking i'm gonna do this and this and this and this. So much hype is attached to the goals. Actually more energy goes into merely thinking/talking about the resolutions than there goes into actually putting them into action. And when you fail at something you were so excited over, it brings you down. I think it's better to relax, take it easy, don't bit off more than you can chew. I don't know how quite to explain it. But sometimes it's better to just get to the task and not analyze it too much.

Agree 100%.
How dare you spoil my joke, though. Worked quite hard at it.
