This is the langha form movie Hamraaz, I loveeee the color and the langha itself.. this is where i got the idea of the green and pink combo idea… but this one is like a dark green with blue stones … you can see it better in the movie.. it is gorgeous.. Should I do somethin like this for my barrat and change the mehndi color?? or should I do the green pink for mehndi and wear traditional red/maroon for barat?? what do you guys think??

I think blue n yellow looks lovely together... i've seen loads of brides in this colour combination... def go for these colours for Mayun..

yellow n any typ of blue looks very nice together.. mine was of yellow n blue clr gharara too...n mayun was of pink n yellow..but was on georjette
i dont think i could carry off yellow and blue, coz i mostly look good in darker colours. yellow just makes me look weird!
some one asked me where i was from, i live in london but im from rawalpindi. i think thats a kind of a downside coz there arent that many good designers in pindi/isb. i might have to go to lahore or karchi then.

I haven't had any presonal expereince with Sabs but from what brides I have seen, I think they do a great job especially with conptemporary look brides with their dark eyes and light lips. I have even seen them do an amazing green eye which is very hard to do without looking garish, also green makes the eye look smaller but they pulled it off.

ok so I was searching threads and trying to figure out what are the new trends in pak these days for wedding lehngs ghararas etc.
I saw somebody had a picture of a bride whose shirt was navy, lehnga was golden, and dupatta was maroon<<all three pieces of the birdal gown of a different color...is that the new trend?
I also saw someone had a karma lehnga in mind with an anarkali type shirt with a slit in the middle....so this shirt will be long <<is that also the trend?

of the little I know, instead of the very short blouse type shirts, brides are wearing longer shirts, which they can later wear with pants or shalwar.
I have also noticed the inclination towards longer sleeves, either elbow length, 3/4th as well as even full sleeves.
and I'm also seeing a lot of peach, pink and white tones for valima outfits
