Khushal Khan Khattak was a freedom fighter urging the afghan tribes to unite as one against the mughals. They had no right on our territory, and the mughals were the enemies of pashtuns. Secondly, Afghanistan consirders all ethnic groups part of Afghanistan, however the word Afghan is specifically used for Pashtun. Why should I give this identity up. I am all for equality of ethnic groups, however all pashtuns are afghans, and I am not interested in giving it up.

And this is one of the sources of ethnic conflict in Afghanistan.
