My parents spent the week with me to avoid Hurricane Irma. I feel as if we have been to every store in the city… twice. lol. I’m exhausted… they leave tomorrow afternoon.
You know I’m alright with my first name… it’s not terribly interesting but it works. What I would actually change are the TWO (yes you read that correctly) middle names I have!

My favourite way to shop is from my couch, wearing my obnoxious flamingo bedroom slippers (they are such weird bird eh?) I do like going to bookstores… I could spend an entire day in one. And kitchen stores… like Sur La Table! But mainly I shop online because I am hassled less and find it easier to be decisive. Have you ever walked into a store and just been paralyzed by indecision?

I won’t change my name now but as a desi I can enforce my “liking” on my kids… 
It will start with their names, then what they will do in life, their profession and eventually who they will marry… evil laugh
