hey i use ysl perfect touch. and i would say if you have olive skin tone stay away from it. im mac nc30-35 but the ysl shade im (shade 6) using is a bit too pink for me. it oxidizes too. coverage wise its ok buildable medium to full coverage but its a bit hard to blend, i specially hate the brush with it i cant control the amount of foundation im dispensing i always end up with too much and it gives a streaky finish like ALWAYS. turn oily quickly and feels heavy after sometimes. its a dud for me atleast.
i think bobby brown has better shades for desi skin.
For medium coverage, BB's fluid foundation is great. For a heavier coverage BB foundation stick and MUFE.
Hi Gina,
I am looking for medium coverage. Which one of BB's fluid foundation is to recommend?
Still no success in finding mufe here, so dissapointing.

I am MAC NC30 - NC35 too! I use Studio Tech (studio fix is a lighter coverage, tech is medium to heavy which I prefer). I also bought MAC full coverage foundation (you only get it in special stores) which is really heavy coverage, but I find it hard to apply on it's own.
I'm looking for a new foundation, medium to heavy coverage. Since you're the same colour as me!!...what one would you recommend, and in what shade??
Nobody tried shiseido and ysl perfect touch? Somebody, anybody?
I tried shiseido and its alright. I was not too impressed with it. I found it drying and the finish was too - fake for me.
I currently use Bobbi Brown, Revlon Colorstay and even sometimes MAC depending upon what kind of a look I want. All three have excellent color ranges for desi skin tones and look lovely in pictures too.

Finally :)
Which type of BB foundation is to prefer? What are you using in Bobbi Brown?
It depends for daytime I prefer BB's fluid foundation and for occasions and events I use the BB foundation stick. I wear 'warm natural 4.5'. I love their foundation sticks, they give great coverage and don't oxidize after a while. I wear 'natural tan 4.2.5'

Gina, I meant which type
Skin foundation
Natural finish long lasting foundation
Moisture rich foundation
Or luminous moisturizing foundation.

i really dont think the coverage of studio tech and studio fix is that different only the finishes r different. and studio fix is pretty heavy coverage IMO if r using mac full coverage then i think u need a potent pro foundation to rival it like kryolan tv stick etc.
but if ur looking for something lighter with good coverage then like gina said bobbi brown stick or mufe stick are great. mufe oxidizes quickly though :(
have u tried studio fix urself? if not the give it a try or even studio sculpt, love the finish and coverage but sadly its for dry skin :(
sorry im not that helpful cuz i usually don't go for uber heavy foundations i like buildable natural coverage.
btw for colors u will be BB 3, 3.5 maybe 4 and for mac i'd say stick with nc30-35
I went to the BB counter today. And one there matched the color on me. I even said to her that this one is going to be too dark but she was so sure that 5 ( honey) will be best for me. Not being convinced I didn’t buy it. It felt and saw good there, but after a while it just turned weired on me. Hmm… How to explain… It was kinda dirty lookingr, does it even make any sence?. It looked fake, too shimmery and dirty… As I had put way too much bronzer on my face.. oooohhhhh so dissapointing. So glad that I didn’t throw away money on that one

Sometimes you have to follow your own gut when it comes to foundation. :( Unfortunately, I have been talked into buying colors that were too dark for me as well. It takes time to find the right shade that isn't too orange or yellowy looking. Go a bit lighter and see how you like it.
apple blossom, 2 different ones because I wear very little make-up during the day and heavier make-up at night. Heavy foundations don’t look nice during the day and in sunlight
I tried one shade lighter today, warm natural. It was a much better result. Eventhough I saw like I had tanned quite abit, but that I don't mind. Should I go one shade lighter? Not sure yet.. and I don't like luminious so much, I like matt finish better.
