New Coach

Viv Richards wants to see Miandad as the new coach

I think Salim Yousuf can be another option.

Re: New Coach

Viv Richards is a huge Miandad fan and it is no secret. I would agree to Miandad as a coach if it is a consensus in Pakistani team.

Re: New Coach

yeah, I guess the nation is ready to bend again :D

Re: New Coach

I won't be surprised if the big mouth Javed is back again; which will be a backward step.

Re: New Coach

Javed and Aqib together will make a good coaching duo. They need a computer/video analyst as an assistant. Javed needs to be friendly with young guys.

Re: New Coach

Meli pepsi kanha hai
Javaid bhai wo to khatam ho gai
m..........a

Re: New Coach

Thats what a lot of modern coaches are using and thats the way forward. But will someone like Javed favour using such modern technology?

Re: New Coach

I agree with you on Aqib and Javed will provide much needed stability at this point, however, Javed Miandad has proven to be a failiure as a coach in the past. Miandad was a great batsman, mediocre captain and jack of a coach.

Re: New Coach

i dont a pakistani coach is good for this team

the problem is pakistani players don't respect pakistani coaches

they respect foreign coaches

we need to get a foreign coach, like from west indies or somewhere

Re: New Coach

Fayz, he doesn't possess man management skills, as he is an illiterate person. But his technical expertise, sharp game plans and passionate motivation will lift the team to heights, only if the boyz listen to him whole-heatedly and he keeps a 'halka haath' on them. Akram and Miandad are same when it comes to dealing with a khilafat-zadda team. They can't handle them.

Rock, in his contract and early interview it should be made clear to him to DO consult with the latest technology, adapt it for good. For the team (which he puts on the top, no doubt) and for himself as coach (as it will help in future). Everything should be clear in the agreements with the team management positions.

Re: New Coach

One thing all current players loved about Bob is that he never kicked them when they were down or performed badly and used to work with them afterwards. But really appreciated them after good performances.

When javed was coach, exact opposite used to happen. He rarely appreciated a good performance but used to grill one really hard immediately in case of a bad performance and this one thing always irked senior and junior players alike.

I would prefer a coach with an approach similar to Bob.

Re: New Coach

How do you know that?

Re: New Coach

I think a team of Salim Malik and Azharuddin would do wonders for the Pakistani team. If not, then Srafraz Nawaz would be a good choice. Give the man a chance I tell ya.

Re: New Coach

salim malik and azharuddin are both gambling men who have bet on cricket....

what we need is some former south african, australian captain to come coach us

like greg chappel in india

Re: New Coach

I think Pakistan needs a foreign coach. Perhaps they should ask Sir Viv Richards to be their coach.

Re: New Coach

well if you have been following bob's reign, it was a well documented fact over the last three years. And regarding miandad, then chairman tauqeer zia openly mentioned the problems between coach and senior players like inzi, afridi etc.

Re: New Coach

But he rarely appreciated a good performance, is that right?

Re: New Coach

Get that ex-india coach for Pakistan.

Re: New Coach

ok. That was never funny. Such lousy humor

Re: New Coach

hahahah reminds me of that pepsi parody ad, actually those lines ARE fro that ad
