By the way ehsan, how do you know the guy hasnt sorted out his problems unless you see him play? He's been out of the team since September 2006.
How are you absolutely sure that he has?

Other than the above stated criteria for being Captain of Pakistan Cricket team the following should be included:
- Player has not been involved in match fixing
- Player should not have been reprimanded, censured or fined for match fixing or any other unethical practices
- Player demonstrates high levels of integrity and objectivity in all walks of life
- Player has and continues to play domestic cricket
- Player has shown leadership skills in domestic matches
- Player has declared his assets and sources of income on a regular basis
- Player is a committed CRICKETER

You are mentioned over and over and over again about what Butt did in SCG and MCG... and at same time you are using younis's bad technique, flashing outside off stump to argue about Butt's case! Now Did he not score plenty of runs in that AUS series then why does according to you** still sucks and butt doesnt?**

Someone has been really mentoring the PCB and developing a very dynamic, vibrant and progressive mentality. The next step would be match to match, day to day, and even session to session captain, i.e. pre-lunch captain / post lunch captain. This way everybody gets to play captain captain and the selectors and management can effectively choose the BEST POSSIBLE captain for the situation at hand.

thats not a bad idea actually. I am sure PCB have enough money to pay "sitting" captain. He will train with the BOYZ but will sit in dressing room with mic in his hand and ear bud in "PROXY" captain's ear .......... is walkie talkie allowed in test cricket?

It's ridiculous to compare Salman Butt with Mohammad Hafeez,
Butt is probably Pakistan's most promising batsman
Hafeez is a player that gives us all (and our fathers) hope that one day we too could play for Pakistan.
Criticize Butt's technique all you want, but the fact is that he's the best of an admittedly pathetic group of Pakistani openers.
Why Hameed and Butt weren't opening at the World Cup is a question that will
forever remain unanswered...
Anyway, how can anyone criticize Butt's technique in comparison with Younis Khan? This is a player that has played 150 ODI's and STILL tries to pull a ball that's heading towards second slip.
