NEW Audio Gallery - Problems

Two problems here -

1. When I ran the exe , i am guided thru the installation process and just before completion it popped up two error messages that two of the DLLs/OCXs cannot be registered as DLLRegisterServer export could not be found.

2. Clicked on the underscore link..the login box came up but when I enter details I get a message that this may take time ( now I wait for 15 Min) but still the message showed..

and of course I was unsuccessful..

People with problem should run this setup file.

It will install and register all the required libraries. After the installation, you should click on the little underscore besides the Uploader link. That should show you the control. Problem people might have to use the underscore for ever. If it works, we’ll either unify them or make a bigger link.

Tell me if this works. People who have AG working fine, please dont experiment. You might muck yer software up, and rest assured I wont try it fix it if you do.

Exactly the same thing happened here !

Now I am able to upload mp3!

BUT!
there are no active buttons in voice recored, all are grey!

Who-me thanks for trying to resolve the issue. When I install that file I get the following windows come up.

However it is now working properly from what I can see.

Gadhay, Its a VB issue, but I wouldnt say Enterprise Edition. You know something I dont?

I am not that good as u are in VB:bummer:.. may i ask if that could be any missing ‘library’ p_raab_leem :-/?

Well there is a problem (on some computers) with registering libraries when you creat the installer with "Package and deployment wizard". That was solved by making the setup.exe with another package maker, and it seems to have worked. Now if you see the recorder control, and it plays the initial welcome, that means that you have the right library for that component, the only one required.

Why isnt it enableing/disabling controls automatically, is something I am trying to find out now.

i am able to record...and after recording my voice i play it back and it works fine.

but then when i copy the code in a post. and attempt to play it back i get this screen.

but it plays back other posts without a problem. i only get this when i attempt to play back something i recorded.

Oki, here’s mine.

Firstly, log in takes forever. But that’s a minor issue i can handle that.

BUT…when i have logged in after taking forever, i hit record and i get this silly little message something about an audio file not being found GSAGG god knows what. And all the buttons are greyed out.

Take your time in solving it, but sometime soon would be nice, eh

I have the wave file but it doesnt seem to be working and when I went on the link that you gave, the link does not work. HELP
