Basically, you can use Netcat as a port scanner, a backdoor, a port redirector, or a port listener.

i have never actually used netcat but if you want to scan a network for any vulnerabilities then there is this tool that goes by the name of nessus ( www.nessus.org ) sometimes though it does give false positives but mostly it's correct.

I don’t think any assignment would require a person to hack a website, unless it is one set up by the university. The way you’ve put it - “find 10 vulnerabilities in websites, exploit them …” doesn’t sound like an authentic request … I mean, I’m doing it at my Masters level but never got any assignment like that, as yet

he will take a viva .. and one could get a straight 4 on this basis .. but no one took the initiative ..

I did not say that Pak Uni mai unprofessional kissam kay assignments miltay hain … what I was pointing at is that maybe he’s just making it up … kya pata he’s doing it so that he’ll become famous after hacking a website .. for fame I mean … who know’s? … just trying to warn you and avert something bad that might be coming his way …
