The odd selection of names just confirms further how the writer is not in tune with the pakistani culture. I have seen some good adaptations of western literature, but this was not really meant to be an adaptation. Which begs the question, why Mehreen actually chose this script and what exactly did she like about it?

I have given up on this drama and haven't watched the last 2 episodes. Has it gotten any better or should I just leave it?

I have also only watched bits of the last two episodes. From looks of things I would say its actually getting worse!

Same here. I gave up after the episode where the annoying friend was following them around. too Boring to bother.

it seems as if it was originally written as a theater drama, meant to be be performed on stage...way too many dialogues, too much emphasis on the narrative to the point of being dreadfully boring :/ even Mehreen's direction couldn't salvage this one.

the word "dost" is used wayyy too many times in the dialogues! "wo mera dost hai", "tum meray dost ho", "hum dost hain", dost this dost that!! SHUT UP!!

After a gap of 4 weeks I decided to watch episode 9. Oh my God, it is STILL stuck in the same place!! Mahira still getting jealous of Deepti and Ismail still jealous of Humayun, Aarrgh!!!!

Mahira's character 'Aila' needs a tight SLAP across her face (like VASL). She is so difficult!! with her stupid tantrums and urgggggghhhhhh. she makes my blood boil. morons like her drive their men away and then sit around with a tub of haagen daz wondering where they went wrong!! she deserves to be alone and miserable!

Way tooooo slow seriously. Its like you watch it weeks later and the story hasn’t progressed much despite it being the 11th episode now !
