i’ve seen stuff like that but I really liked when i saw one family take colored tea light holders and use that on a mirrored golden plate and walked with that. it was colorful and really looked nice, i wonder why people don’t use those candles that glow blue and red?

i think they would look really nice and people rarely see that. also i think it is smart to use those trick candles, i can’t tell you how many times when the family is ready to walk in someone’s candle goes out and that looks a bit lame.
i also like it when there is a mini groom and mini bride on the mendhi trays. Also xmas decorations are great to use for hanging off of a mendi tray, a friend of mine had a cinderella themed winter wonderland thing going and we found snowflake like metal stringed things and used that.

Ok so my brothers getting married in Pakistan inshallah this December and Im thinking of what to have when we walk in...whats 'in' in pakistan now?
I went 2 years ago and they had matke with candles in them...or then we could have traditional mehndi plates....which is common!
I like doing something different...such as for my sisters mehndi in UK we had 6 guys in a long line holding these long candlesticks (garden wooden candles) and then my sister walked in after them..just to add a bit of 'style' lol
whats in now guys?

Attached is the pic of the mehendi stuff that my family took to my Husband’s rasm-e-mehendi. They bought this at last minute from Saeed Ghani , they are a bit expensive but have good stuff.

I'm looking for new very creative ideas for mehndi(henna) plates...that have never been done before. looking for kinda east meets west or maybe arabic inspiration...Any ideas? Don't have to have a picture of it, could be a picture of inspiration that could be turned into a mehndi thaal idea, that sorta thing.
Also the same with gift packing, new ideas for that too.
Whatever idea you have no matter how wacky you might think it is just post it here on this thread pls

please post some picture when you create one with the mirrors!! i would love to see and it get inspirations for my own mehndi in July! I am also in the middle of making some stage decorations...you know those mehndi umbrella decorations! I really love them and im thinking of recreating them for the sides of the stage, will post pictures if it all turns out well! but i would love to see your taals, i need to start working on mine as well!

hi ladies! here are some pictures of my homemade mehndi thaals! i like the fact that i bought everything from the dollarstore! 
hope it gives some inspirations, it didnt take long at all to make either. just a few hours! i still have some more to complete but im all out of trays at the moment lol. its worth it if your in a budget and looking to save. cant wait to see the mirror ones!
