need to vent too...hubby and inlawsss

That only works if you've been to a good/very good university.

Most of the guys from Pakistan who come to the UK don't care (they come mainly for the 2 year work visa they will get after) or don't have the capability to study at one of them.

Those degree's aren't gonna get them technical jobs.

Right now the work situation for master's educated is really bad in the UK. All the students graduating this year are freaked out and most have no jobs lined up, whereas 3-4 years ago they would have all secured a job to start as soon as the Masters ends in September.
For PhD's where you would have been maybe 1 in 20 applicants, how you are 1 out of a few hundred.

Now how would it be if you just graduated from an average UK university?

Yeah, because most users don't come in here bashing their spouses and then defend them as soon as others begin to agree.

venting is for blogs....threads are to get help. don't like what you hear, then don't open a thread...

Who said i didnt like what i heard. and i wasnt BASHING him, i wanted to know if i was being reasonable with him, maybe preg hormones or not...and secondly people ASSUME alot here, so once someone ASSUMES i have to correct them and give them more info....so im sorry if that comes across as shock DEFENDING MY HUSBAND....

PEOPLE HERE never listen to whats said, or read whats written, instead they ramble on about stuff I DID NOT SAY and ASSUME they are right...so i have TO BUTT RIGHT IN THERE AND EXPLAIN THE ENTIRE DAMN STORY WHICH I THOUGHT I DIDNT NEED IT..such as people assuming he sisnt looking at all, he doesnt know his resp, he isnt tryin in his field....SO I HAVE TO WRITE THAT ALL IN THERE...AND THAT SHOWS IM DEFENDING HIM???

so if the one odd ball who does come on here venting and then defends her spouse, is wrong?

I say good on her for defending her spouse. That's what one should do when they do get crap advice from people.
