That only works if you’ve been to a good/very good university.
Most of the guys from Pakistan who come to the UK don’t care (they come mainly for the 2 year work visa they will get after) or don’t have the capability to study at one of them.
Those degree’s aren’t gonna get them technical jobs.
Right now the work situation for master’s educated is really bad in the UK. All the students graduating this year are freaked out and most have no jobs lined up, whereas 3-4 years ago they would have all secured a job to start as soon as the Masters ends in September.
For PhD’s where you would have been maybe 1 in 20 applicants, how you are 1 out of a few hundred.
Now how would it be if you just graduated from an average UK university?
