sorry to interrupt your discussion, but i think ahmadis (or whatever other names they r known as) hide their identity because they r persecuted.. i’m not ahmadi but as a shia ismaili, i sometimes faced similiar situations..although i told most ppl i was ismaili but i didn’t tell some ppl who i knew would try to engage in arguments n say bad stuff about my imam, n then i would say bad stuff about some sunni personalities n i’d be outnumbered.. simple reason… saving one’s life by staying quiet… that’s why i understand why ahmadis would hide their identity.. not becoz they r not proud of their identity but they fear for their lives.. i hope u understand now..
