Thanks guys for the advice :)…it really did help… I think i just needed some unbiased views, because all the advice i have been given so far is from my family. yeah I think it is best if I go and visit Pakistan first, see his lifestyle etc. But the problem is when i visit, I know for a fact they will want to have an engagement ceremony, then there is no way I can reject it. I have tried and asked my parents if we can have a DNA testing, but they said it is unlikely they would want to go through with it because it might insult them blah blah… :(…i don’t know, i guess I’ll just do istikhara. Do you guys reckon i should talk to him about it?. because we are in contact via email, to get to know each other. I mean he’s a great guy and all, but i cant feel attracted to him if i haven’t even seen him!. But every time i think about the future i get scared :(. However on the other hand i get scared that if I reject this rishta, Allah will not like it, as in a way i am rejecting his blessing. I mean there is absolutely nothing wrong with the guy, people have actually said we will look good together, but i guess that’s just not enough for me until all these worries are sorted out. And I think somebody asked where i live?..I live in the UK, and if this rishta goes ahead than he will be moving here.

Allah swt does not get mad if you reject a rishta. He gets mad when you get into a situation where you not only hurt yourself but others as well.

If you’re in contact with him via email…then there is no issue. Ask him to do istikhara and for a picture. Qissa khatam!
