Need shopping advice

Iv started my third trimester and i havent done any shopping yet..please advice as to what should i buy..i get so confused whenever i visit a mothercare store that i come out empty handed..i feel so lost..kahanse shuru krun:(

Anyone from Karachi here who has recently shopped for a newborn? I want to know which stores are good for shopping other than zubaidas and mothercare?

since you're in karachi, you can also ask the darzi to make up lots of little very soft cotton or malmal kurtas to wear during the warmer months. my mom used to do that for my older brother-- he'd always be cool and comfortable in a kurta and diaper. and he looked cute as heck in them too haha

Yea i plan to do that:) but i was confused whether i should buy everything right now or shop accordingly as she grows up? Like should i shop for newborns only or buy stuff for 3-6month old babies aswell?

i would say buy for up to 6 months. the first few months can be really hectic what with lack of sleep and a brand new human to take care of- personally, shopping was the last thing on my mind. plus there are some essentials like a crib, changing table, dresser, stroller, diapers, wipes, vaporizer, car seat (if you plan on using one), for eg, that you need to have beforehand so you aren't coming home and have nowhere to put her. and don't forget personal items you'll need like nursing bras, loose clothes and tank tops, a nursing poncho, breast pads, etc.

tank tops are easier to nurse in. you just pull down the strap. you can get nursing tank tops with built in bra's too. the best bras i found were the wireless ones because they were adjustable, stretchy material which was so comfortable and your breasts go through a huge change right after.

Hi, just buy newborn baby stuff, because you get so many presents aswell and it feels nicer when you go out for shopping with your babies for her or his stuff. Get some rompers, socks, towels, hat, shirts, pyjama's, baby oil, shampoo, baby powder, cotton wool, thermometer, diapers, rash cream, wipes, feeders, thermo flask, dry milk storage containers if you are not going to breastfeed, dummies, baby bath tub, steriliser or steriliser tablets, hotwater bottle, digital cam for the pictures at the very first minutes of your baby. When you to shops as mothercare you see there so many things for new borns, really at stages you need all of them.

Yesterday someone was telling me that u dont wear a bra atleast for forty days or else ur milk supply would b lessened and even after 40days u wear a very loose bra..is this true:/
And do i need to buy a pump ? For what reasons exactly?
