Re: Need recipes .. HELP !!!

marinate chicken with simple salt. blk pepper, yogurt and cook it on the stove, steam vegetables with it, just put some vegetables in a pan, season lightly, and cook for few minutes. marinate fish with salt pepper, haldi, cook on stove, couple mins on each side. make yakhni, give him a cup to drink, make rice in that yakhni. make salan with very little oil, ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, onion, haldi, and salt.

My sister used to have stomach problem and doctor advised same for her as for your husband. My Mom used to cook everything in Salt and black pepper for her. You can also give her chicken roast without putting any red chillies. One of the Pan grilled roasted chicken i make is that I add yogurt, lemon juice, haldi salt and paprika and just rub it on chicken. In few drops of oil I just grill it in frying pan and then put in the oven. It tastes yummy

You can also make bhunna huwa qeema without adding green or red chillies. Chicken Qeema also tastes great. You can make kababs of it. MAshed potato sometimes can be used for change of taste

Re: Need recipes .. HELP !!!

Quick thing, try to stay away from using alot of garlic and ginger .. these add to the spiciness of any food and can irritate the stomach further.

Why dont you try Grilled meat , there are so many options .. stick with fresh herbs, salt and black pepper to create taste variations .. you can do Chicken Tikka's , Seekh Kababs and offer these with grilled herb potatoes or hummous or even grilled Vegies

make Lasagne with mildly spiced mince .. spiced as in Fresh herbs and salt and pepper

Soups are good but they arent filling .. but if you guys stick to variations of meat , that will not only provide the strength and energy but also are quite filling .. the only thing is youhave to keep an eye if he is able to digest meat properly ..

you can do pea and carrot soup , its quite filling when taken with mild garlic bread ..

Try stir fry veggie mixes with grilled meat and some spaghetti

I hope inshallah he recovers soon ..

I'd use very little spices if I were you. Anything beyond salt should be used minimally. Add a lot of soups and grilled chicken/fish to his diet. There are a ton of really good veg soup recipes online that you can search for and use.
