P.s. its not been rooted or anything.
P.s. What about the games i have been playing on it? The levels which i have completed etc etc? Can i somehow transfer these completed levels to galaxy note (mobile phone) ?

Re: Need help !

Connect it to a computer, or go to settings and security wipe. Levels, might be tied to google play account otherwise :S

Moving to appropriate forum

Re: Need help !

I’m not too fimiliar with Galaxy or Android for that matter, but if your tablet came with software that manages Backup and Restore. All you would need to do is perform a full backup for your device to your computer. Disconnect it after it has been backed up. Do a factory reset to return it to “new”.

When you get another compatible device, just sync it with your computer and restore. All your previous settings/data should move to your new device (phone/tablet, etc.).

Someone posted this at an Android discussion forum, it might also be worth a shot;

In any case, I’d practice caution if the data is important to you.

Re: Need help !

If you are rooted, you can do a full backup and app data (game progress) backup from the phone itself and upload to dropbox or email it yourself using the carbon android backup and sync app, even if you are not rooted (rooting is just clicking a button for most of the devices these days) you just need a computer once to install and enable carbon on your phone (you have to install the PC Desktop Manager on a computer).

Or if you want to backup on a PC, you can use Samsung Kies or any other free third party tools like Gigadroid from XDA forum, or Holo Backup also from XDA forum or the Moborobo PC manager.

You can do a full backup or a appdata backup with any of the options/tools above, then you can restore to your new device (full or selectively), not everything will work as the data folder also contains the device specific graphics and other game data, most will work fine.

To go to factory default (wipe everything from your Galaxytab) go to settings->Back& restore->Factory Reset (on ASOP Android) and Settings->Privacy->Factory Reset (on Samsung Touchwiz), there will be an option even to format the SD card if you wish. Take a backup first.

P.S: its always fun to start playing the same game all over again.

Thank you guys :slight_smile: it helped
