Salons like JC Penney 's salon carry stuff like CHI andso do some other salons. For cheaper ones try a beauty supply company like Sally's. They do carry one that they say is a generic version of Chi. It costs usuually $69 but on sale goes for $49 too.

sephora carries T3 and it's about 200 dollars. on folica or other website, you can get it for a whole lot cheaper.

I have Chi and i love it..i took one Chi to karachi and ofcourse it burned..
I called their company and they DO NOT have any dual voltage Chi..i mean they do not manufacture any dual voltage straighteners..i just got a really expensive Converter and then anything works after pluggin in it!

The one we have is good, but i want one for myself.
and about the iron, i attess that if u get the right person to do it, u WILL get better results then a straightner... dead, and i mean deadly straightened hair.

i have friends who have done the whole iron thing and after a few months, they had super dried hair as well. advice, don't do it. stick to flat irons. clothes irons dont come with all that ceramic or tourmaline shield.

Adro the Sedu also leaves the hair very silky and shiny. I do not know how it compares to the GHD other than pricewise, it seems to be about half as expensive.
For those wanting to know where to buy them from well I got my CHI from Bubbles "hair salon’ and Sedu from ULTA. I would suggest that you buy any iron you want to from ulta since you get a price break using their 20% off coupon. Yes it works on the irons

^^ I don't think they sell the higher end ones on ULTA website. At least that was the case with CHI when I bought it last month. It's not available online, but you can buy it from the store.

Try Corioliss. It's expensive but you can get a good deal on Ebay. It works in both 110 & 220 V so you won't have the mini explosion problem, and this is one iron that is actually good for the hair as it has some unique non-ceramic technology.

however, i also had a conair at the same time and thats wat i continued using and thought it was better
but after that broke i reallly got used to the corioliss …its reallllllly nice

I found something better than the chi, but it makes ur hair chinese straight. I got it from a salon..go to like the best salon in town and ask them.

Sorry if my question sounds stupid but with sedu do you still have to use all those serums for straightening hair? I have a really wavy hair and I can’t seem to straighten my hair unless I use lots n lots of hair serum which is damaging my hair.
