Kobe will go back to court on Nov 10th where the court will inform his rights and everything related to the case. Some of the legal experts say the trial may not be start before Summer 2004. The Judge Garnett has been replaced and a no-nonsense approach Judge will handle the Kobe's case. Anyway without Kobe, definitely there will be impact on LAKERS' game and this is something LAKERS will have to live with it this season. This time we have enough off bench experienced players who can put 10-12 pts.

Rick Fox will miss couple of games this season as Devean Geroge will be in the starting up along with The Fantastic Four. Derek Fisher will be LAKERS' bench explosive weapon!

I'm leaving all up to Phil Jackson. He has dealt with off-court distractions, who will trigger the ball issues before and in this season he has a team with a combination of Veterans and Rookies. Go PJ! LAKERS' fans expect nothing less than a Championship title. :)

{Dedicated to all the LAKERS' fans}

Here we go...yo yo..are y'all feelin' it?
Here we go...yippie yippie...Alley-Oops
Here we go...yayay yayay...Slam Dunks

This is dedicated to the LAKERS
Dedicated to wherever LAKERS' fan lives
Dedicated to those tired of the same ol' same
And dedicated to the LAKERS advancin' the game
Meanwhile I just grip my mic
And hope me and my team make it through alright
Because say what y'all will, and say what you might
But don't ignore who it's for at the end of the night

LAKERS' Threat - The Fantastic Four

..under one of the best coaches in the NBA history

Phil Jackson - The Genius

Everybody who doesn't feel safe
Everybody who knows they're out of place
Anybody with nowhere to run
'cause they know LAKERS have come, yo! ***

Let's Go LAKERS!

Out of all the new look teams this year, Dallas maverick look to be the strongest.
With inclusion of Antoine Jamison and Antoine Walker, Dallas will be a huge force to be reckoned with.
I can proudly say that the 2 best teams in the NBA are from the state of Texas.

^The Mavs are awsome this year. Just loaded with talent although D could be a problem. I like Minnesota as well.
It will be interesting to see if the Raptors can recover from there terrible last year. I think Chris Bosh should be the surprise of the last draft.

New Jersey NETS Rock! Lokking forward to a great season.

what's this heat between Shaq and Kob? they wanna loose another season?

Tonight’s game result

  • Miami HEAT 74 vs Philadelphia 76ERS 89

  • Phoenix SUNS 82 vs San Antonio SPURS 83

  • Dallas MAVERICKS vs Los Angeles LAKERS 109

Awesome debuts for Karl Malone and Gary Payton in the Los Angles LAKERS uniform. Both played really good, contributed 36 pts. This is what LAKERS want. With Shaquille-Kobe at one hand, now the LAKERS have Malone-Payton at the other. Solid and unstopable force. Devean George was efficient tonight, missed only two shots and a FT. STAPLES Center cheered each moment of the game and oh Man that alley-oop by Shaquille off the pass by Payton…dang people were jumping upside down but it was Kobe Bryant’s appearace on the court that made crowd up on their feet.

[thumb=D]shaqkobe.JPG[/thumb]

[thumb=D]shaqkobe1.JPG[/thumb]

Kuch Tum Kaho…Kuch Hum Kahein

The only worry thing in tonight’s game was PFs. Both Shaq, Malone had 4 while Payton had 3. Nevertheless, LAKERS had to win the tonight’s game as Phil Jackson said prior to the tipoff: ‘I kind of miss the ring ceremony we’ve had the last couple of years, and we hope to provide you with a team that will get us another one’ :k:

With tonight’s win LAKERS win record against MAVERICKS has become even better woohoo…Taste of Reality TV Show for Mark Cuban.

this is the year NBA will have its gigantic seaon ever! there are many good teams in the Western Conference - fact is West is full of ssssooo talented players, coaches that we could have playoffs between 16 teams from the Western Conference - i am not being harsh on the Eastern Conference teams - it’s good Lebron James and Darko Milicic have gone to the East side - Carmelo Anothy should have gone to the East side as well - West is overflow of talent - i think NBA should do something do make a balance between East and West so that we could have fun watching NBA Finals.

anyway back to NBA - as underdogs always have my support - this time i’m rooting for Minnesota Timberwolves - i’m pretty sure Wolves will make it to the playoffs but the real test will be advancing to the next round of the playoffs

anyhow - here are my predictions for the season

007. Detriot Piston: Will Larry Brown’s team make it to the NBA Finals with Richard Hamilton as his new weapon? - Pistons have got Darko Milicic from the draft which will certainly make their game more defensive - and with Ben Wallace already there things are looking good for Pistons - it’s the offense that needs to be fixed - Richard Hamilton and Chuncey Billups makes a perfect duo - Mehmet Okur and Tayshuan Price will have to stand up again for the team - Odds are Pistons will make it to the Conference Finals but they will be eliminated by Nets otherwise if Nets aren’t in the Eastern Conference Finals then it’s any team’s game.

006. New Jersey Nets finally - Nets have got the right man for job right i.e. Alonzo Mourning at center - this is the big boost for the Nets - and there’s no doubt in my mind Nets will make and win the Eastern Conference again but as far as the NBA Finals goes - it depends - they came close to win it last year. Odds are this year the Championship belongs to following West teams

005. Dallas Mavericks: always fun to watch - always have good season but that is not enough or is it? the roaster is full of players but Mavericks are a mess - Antoine Jamison and Antoine Walker will boost Mavericks but its the center position that kills them - Shawn Bradley is nowhere near to the standard of playing at center position - and Dirk Nowitzi can’t play at forward and center at the same time - in basketball court the center is your main point - as much as your paint position is strong - the opposition team will always have a hard time shooting-Mavericks will have a best season this year like always.

004. San Antonion Spurs: Will they be able to repeat the second peat? how much Spurs game will be effected without David Robinson? i wasn’t even bother when Timberwolves traded Radoslav Nesterovic with Spurs - Kevin Smith is too old to play at center position - and Sean Marks well i can’t say - the best thing happened to Spurs is that they have Robert Horry in the side - and Spurs might have some right-position-right-time shots - Tim Duncan remains the dominating force in the NBA - Anothy Carter is an expolsive guard - ain’t like a choker - much better than Tony Parker.

003. Minnesota Timberwolves it’s KG it’s KG  - damn ain’t he one of best players at the moment? last year Wolves had not enough potential but this year we have two more good players - Sam Cassell and Latrell Sprewell - Ervin Johnson as our center - chances are bright and Timberwolves are in a haunt - that’s what we did tonight by winning our opening game of the season - Go Wolves Go howls

002. L.A. Lakers oh boy Kobe saga hasn’t over - and then we have Shaq-Kobe feud - will the Lakers get along? will Zen Master be able to cool things down again? - will this new outlook of the Lakers will be known as the Hall of Famers 10 years from now ? - answer is future is uncertain - anyhow the Lakers side look much more improved than it was 3 years ago - this year will be hell of a distraction for the Lakers - and they really have to put all the distractions fraustration aside - and just play the ball game.

001. Sacromento Kings: the forgotten title contenders - i reckon this could be Kings’ year unless they don’t blew it when they did two years ago - and last year Chris Webber’s unfortunate injury made Kings bunch of rookies - it’s been said that Chris Webber won’t return to the court until December - anyhow with Brad Miller at center - Kings are in good shape - the best competition will be between Bobby Jackson and Mike Bibby as a point guard - Bibby was awful last season - and i think Jackson is much better, much quicker than him(Bibby) - Kings must start seaon with Bobby Jackson as point guard - and when Chris Webber is back - replace him with Mike Bibby.

anyhow - that’s my analysis shoo

:hula:

Da T’wolves Revolutions

Go Wolves Go!

Did anybody see Lerbon James play last night.

Unbelievable, this kid is going to be big!

Most points on a NBA debut by an rookie, 25!

Kobe made his season debut for the Lakeshow and All-Star Quad Squad
edged out Phoenix Suns 103 - 99.
Lakers looking good so far, buoy!

Kobe Bryant is Back

He got mixed reaction from the crowd. Some booed some cheered but according to Mr. Bryant *"I expected the worst. To hear anyone cheering felt good." *

5Abi, have you watched Bryon Russell play? The LAKERS signed the 10-year Veteran just a few days before the NBA season. He can play at PG and Forward position. Exactly how LAKERS can use Devean George if required. Bryon Russell played in the first game against MAVERICKS when Kobe sat out due to injury. I thought he was impressive. While reading through Bryon's career, he's good at stealing the ball but he avg. less than 10 PPG, rebounds less 5 PG, and assists.less than 2 PG.

I was wondering if you have any opinion about Bryon Russell?

Great :k:

:D..u mean Mavs... Rockets?
Rockets have a great coach this year...they will make their presence known.
Its gonna be hard to beat the Lakers but it would be fun if Lakers don't win this year. Malone and Payton should have retired with dignity..Especially Malone should have shown some loyalty to the Jazz fans. Now I don't see a difference between Malone and twenty years vetran Kevin Willis who went to Spurs for the ring.
Me being the Raptors fan am delighted to see Lenny Wilken outta the door. I like the new coach and the rookie. We'll show u guys :D

I like Carmelo Anthony than Lebron James as a player - thing is both players are good atheltics but Carmelo Anthony brings more wins than Lebron James - Denver Nuggets has beaten two best teams of the NBA - Spurs(on Wednesday) and Kings(on Saturday) - this was the same team who were nowhere near to compete teams such as Spurs and Kings - and now they are proving to be a tough, competitive team - and it’s all because of Carmelo Anthony - my money on him - i back Carmelo Anthony to be awarded as a Rookie of the Year.

anyhow, T’Wolves are 2-1 at the moment - KG had his third consecutive 20 points game. :smokin:
