Okay, that does it! The Suns have made a believer out of me. Not that I've ever said the infamous "You can't run in the playoffs!" line. Not that I didn't know they were good. But I didn't know they could be this resilient. What an amazing display by Phoenix tonight, after losing Johnson. After losing Stoudemire fairly early in this one.
Steve is Nashty! This four-game display he has put on is some of the most amazing basketball I've ever seen in the postseason. Unbelievable. He orchestrates every last thing for this team.
Dirk has lost a lot of respect from me this postseason. He calls out Dampier after getting negated by Ryan effin' Bowen in the first round, he calls out the team's postseason MVP right there on the court just mere seconds after Nash buried the tying shot right in Nowitzki's face. Terry has had an incredible playoffs. Dirk's hasn't even been the second-most valuable. That's Josh Howard. And Stackhouse is debatable as the third. When you're an All-NBA First-Teamer and the best scorer on a team loaded with them, you need to do a better job leading. Dirk's shot wasn't falling, but that wasn't the only thing that broke in his game. He wasn't playing any defense, Marion and Nash were destroying him, and he basically shot his team out of the 2004-2005 season tonight.
Amazing performance by Phoenix tonight. I'm looking forward to their series with the Spurs more than I looked forward to this one.
