it was funny when Rip introduced Sheed as the best power forward in the game ... i soo knew that he was gonna be eating his words ... To sum up their post season, they talked more and performed less. It'll be interesting to see if they stay with the same team for next yr.
talha, u r rite in all u say but yar look at the current facts... Shaq has proven his worth... more so by getting out of East... if they would've lost to the pistons again, i would have considered the whole run as a failure.

A cheating husband and a dead --------------
Shaq will run off his mouth all day if he gets the better of someone. When he gets embarrassed, like last night, he'll just simply run off. Real class act.
^ its better he stayed quite or he'd've said something mean and collected the fine anyway... .those reporters ask the most aggravating questions, Shaq was just not in the mood of entertaining the critics.
^ Of course, for Shaq 10 K is nothing since he earn 54 K per day.
If you like it or not - I still stand in amazement about Shaquille O'Neal's second game of the Finals.
5 points.
1-7 FTs.
0 blocks.
2-5Fgs.
The guys is not injured, this time. And he is only 34. Wilt was Finals MVP at age 35. At age 39, Kareem was delivering 21-7 in the Finals. They both played against superior teams. Shaq has been playing against Dampier and Diop. So, if you like it or not, Shaq has been a complete chump. A scrub. The definite has-been. Shaq took only 5 shots in the game and yet media didn't crucified him and blamed his team mates didn't do their job. Yes, sir it's never Shaq's fault. People(Media) are going to keep saying that most dominant crap every year until Shaq retires. One good game out of six, doesn't mean you're dominant. This dude looks washed up (and he's going to be on the books for 4 more years at 20 million per).
Amazing 4th quarter ... for Wade and the Heats. How Dirk missed that last free throw is beyond me. Overall, I think Mavs played really well, and had 13 point lead at one time. But once Wade took over the game, it was Heats all over the place. Anyway, now things are very interesting for Game 4.
^ The comeback was soo unbelievable that it looked like a fixed game. Down 13 by mid fourth quarter .... it was for Mavs chance to seal the series. After that, just about everything went Miami's way .... Wade showing Jordan-like charisma, Shaq hitting two big FREE THROWS, haslem getting all loose balls n hitting two big free throws after being 0-3, Payton hitting the shot with shotclock down to 1, dirk missing the crucial free throw, wade being able to alter the alley-oop pass from dirk ... whewww. Wat a thrilling game it was. Pippen actually said at the end that it was like watching Jordan when Wade took over in 4th quarter.
No disrespect to Pippen and MJ, but I wonder if Pippen remembers Kobe taking over Game 7 of 2000 Western Conference Fianls with a 15-0 run in 4th Quarter when the Lakers season was slipping away. The Lakers won Game 7 at Staples and went on to win the NBA title.
Yes ofcourse Pippen remembers, he was on that Portland Trailblazers team in 2000 as the crowd cheered Kobe. But I doubt he will admit to remembering it ;)

okay, i will ask pippen to mention Kobe's game 7 in '00 and game winning shot of this year's phoenix series..... uhmmm, i need a little help though; plz suggest the right context for him to say that :p yar, wahan woh miami ki series analyze kar rah tha,,, kobe beech mein kahan se aagaya?
Talha, i am glad you get chance to vent here... varna tumhara kia hota. Waise, the theory of Wade vs. Mavs is ironic coming from you, when ur fav. player takes over games like this as well... What do you say then?
Besides Wade's magic, Heat won by playing solid defense at the end and i am sure it wasn't Wade who stole the ball from Dirk and converted on both foul shots, nor the guy who made the last second shot to give Miami the lead for good. So to correct you, its Mavs 2, Heat 1
lol - I love arguing with you. Don’t get me wrong. Off 27 pts Heat scored, Wade had 17 so basically he carried the team - just like previous postseason, this postseason has the same script. Even though Wade was limping, he had more juice in his legs than any other player on his team or Mavs player for that matter. He’s the first option on Heat, not Shaq - the big whatever.
And yes, I’d have said the same had Kobe, KG or TD done it. So to correct you: Mavs 2, Wade 1, Heat 0
Heats rout Mavs in Game 4. It was almost a mismatch. Mavs struggled mightily to score, while Heats were all over the place. Wade had another excellent game, and Shaq was back to his usual self.
Talha now you are being a player-hater. If you think Shaq's contribution with th following numbers is not a factor in Heat's wins when he is being doube and tripple teamed, then you and I are not watching the same game.
Game 3: **16 pts, 11 rebounds, team-high 5 assists, 4/6 free throws
Game 4:** 17 pts, 13 rebounds, 2 blocks, 75% field goals
With the double and tripple team on Shaq, the lanes get open for Wade. Its the same scenario Shaq had with the Lakers (replace Wade with Kobe). But yes ofcourse Shaq is 35 now and his numbers arent the same as back in 1995 or 2000. But his presence in the middle is still felt by the opponents or else why would they double team him.
Stackhouse is prolly going to get suspended for intentional and flagrant foul on Shaq.
Said O'Neal: "My daughters tackle me harder when I come home."
Dallas set a record for fewest points in a quarter in an NBA Finals game with seven in the fourth quarter against Miami
Not gonna win many games with a stat like the above.
