You have to be "brown" to be specially scrutinized, are Indians not brown? As for IMF/WB is considered that is a different problem which probably will not go away no matter how happy relations are with India. They have different separatist movements around their country which aren't loved by media thats why you don't get to see as much. You seem to be suffering from low self esteem than anything else.

I am not suggesting that problem of India are similar or at same level, all I am saying is grass may seem greener on other side but that is not really true.

1: Nawaz is unlikely to ever become Prime Minister of Pakistan. Chances for his party to even rule Punjab is not certain in future.
2: Every Pakistani head of state tried to normalise relation with India, but all efforts stopped for one reason, that is, India not willing to talk or negotiate on Kashmir (claiming Kashmir as integral part of India).
3: No doubt that open trade with India would benefit Pakistan (actually it would be mutually beneficial), but once relation would get completely normalised without any pre-arranged solution of Kashmir, line of control in Kashmir would become de-facto border of India and Pakistan.
4: Once relation would become cordial with open border and free trade, strong armed forces for Pakistan would become redundant, but not for India (due to their stance against China and their large GDP that is 6 to 7 times more than Pakistan, a big multiple, and unfortunately the difference is widening). That means over time, Pakistan would become weaker and weaker militarily to even defend any conflicting issues with India. This situation in long run would come back to haunt Pakistan if India would start claiming more water from rivers allocated to Pakistan, diverting them towards Indian main land south. Rann of Kutch (possibly oil rich area) is another area of contention between India and Pakistan, and with no military ability to defend Pakistani stance, it would be saying good bye to that too.
5: Pakistan political elites are different than most countries. They are worse kind of parasites. Most are thugs and thieves (especially Nawaz, who is leader of the pack). Weak military in Pakistan would encourage Pakistani thugs into politics to loot and plunder the country more than ever before. It means country economically deteriorating more with time.
[Till now, economical history of Pakistan is that, politicians ruin the economy and when economy becomes too bad, military comes in to stop the rot, stabilise the economy, gives economy a boost, and once job is done, they let the politicians come in, who start the rot again]
Even though many would not like to accept this fact (especially those who are self-appointed religious gurus and their followers), but we have to realise that future of Pakistan do not depend on nationality, religion, ethnicity, culture, emotion, conflicts or rhetoric, but economy compared to India. If Pakistani economy (per head) would become too weak compared to India, for instance, Indian GDP per head becomes 3 to 4 times of Pakistan, Pakistan as a Nation would implode.
You could have simply said "MQM and Q-League will win the elections and would make clean sweap, however seats shall be given to PPP or PML-N so that the opposition can be formed" why wrote thousand words???

Like it or not, the truth is that India will always part of Pakistan's future, whatever shape it takes. So its about time we started to see eye to eye, we may not become best friends but for economic reasons we should be looking across the border at the Rupees of the Billion+ population just ready for the taking. In the present climate who can Pakistan do business with, no...actually who wants to do business with Pakistan. India...better the devil you know!!

well am in strong favor to increase atleast business opportuinites with India,
and not so much interested what is in NS`s mind to get personal benefits but if some money get start circulated becoz of two countiries import/export its not a bad thing.

Why are you mixing things up here? Friendliness with India will not change American attitude towards Pakistan, neither will India twist American arm in Pakistan's favor, these are two mutually exclusive things.
Anyone will give middle finger to anyone, there is no "friends" in the geo-politics, its all about interest.
Chances of a brown person being scrutinized is indeed higher but people with Pak passport have a much higher degree of scrutiny than those with Indian passport.
Measures (not words) of repproachment with India will certainly show Americans that Pakistan does want to change and that will lead to better attitudes towards Pakistan. I don't know where you live but the places I have been to in the west, there certainly has a strong link been made between why Pakistan supports terrorism and why India consequently is a victim of that policy.

Sure that is true but as they say you need to a mole to make a molehill, india also has some real growth to show for itself so they can cleverly hide the bad parts.
Pakistan's case isn't helped by regular bomb blasts or suicide bombings even if the world media was leaving Pakistan alone...

He is seeing an opportunity to make billions FOR HIMSELF with India, just like 1999 when he went there and created deals for his sugar mills. Corrupt idiot.
The by-product of that would be economic improvement in Pakistan as there will lot of other legitimate deals which would have improved the economy. It's better than taking money from Uncle Sam and sending it to Swiss Bank and at the same time pissing off the fundu even more.
I said this before and will say it again; he (along with AB Vajpayee) was well on his way to take Indo-Pak to a new level, when Kargil happened. I suspect China's role in Kargil, the least they encouraged Mushy to get on with this foolish plan. The fact, he was in China at that time smells fishy. The only country that stands to lose with a friendly India-Pakistan situation is CHINA.
Given the geography and cultural similarities between India and Pakistan, trade between the two would any day trump trade between Pakistan and China. Trade with India would be beneficial in the long run.
If he is serious about his regret on not putting the army in its place, then he should be given another opportunity at the Federal govt. Now that the army is seems to on back foot when dealing with civilian government, he can establish a democracy once in for all where army is subservient to civilian government.

Nawaz has neither forgotten nor forgiven what army did to him. I don't think Pakistan military would allow better relations with India and lose $$$ funding from bloody civilians.
It is the time to patch up with India. In a few years, India is going to get a security council seat and a respectable position in world affairs and Pakistan won't even be considered a competition. It would be extremely hard to get a good deal out of a reconciliation at that time!
