Benazir handled the interview much better but I will say that Shahid Masood himself was more docile with Benazir than he was with Nawaz Sharif.

I saw both the interviews, BB was able to handle Dr much better than NS. She is as cunning as a fox, The ganja could not mark any point at all.

BB got more experience of free media then NS. She is dealing with Pakistani media since Musharraf gave media free hand. In the beginning, she was also having lot of problems. I remember the interview when she was questioned on murder of Murtaza Bhutto, and she gone so angry that she left the interview, then came back after cooling off.
Now, she knows a bit how to deal with free media. She can munch her words before saying anything and evade questions she does not want to answer. As for Nawaz, for number of years he was in Saudia and does not have that much experience of media after Musharraf freed them to do anything they like. NS must be surprised that Dr Shahid is asking him pinching questions and questioning during his replies, bluntly. Actually, his surprise was obvious on his face during interview.
Such interview must have been shock to NS that interviewer was not bothering about the politician in front of him, something unheard of in Pakistan. Normally, interviewer when interviewing political personalities in Pakistan, most of the time when questioning, they fear that politician does not get angry, and harm him (and his family). This is normality of interviewer anywhere in third world country (and in some cases, this happens in USA too).
In past, very few daring politicians use to come live in interview and even then, he use to know the questions beforehand and interviewer was watched. If Dr Shahid had done this type of interview before Musharraf came to power, he would have found Intelligence people knocking on his door that night and before interview see the air, he with interview recordings would have disappeared into dungeon, getting tortured. NS is product of that time and when Musharraf would go out of power, I am sure we will see similar time back again in Pakistan.

His tone and the questions themselves made his bias pretty obvious. That he was PSF I had no idea. I am not surprised though.

Well, Benazir's educated and knows how to handle the press, even if she screws up by making vivid claims, she says it in a way that comes along naturally, maybe because shes an excellent orator just like her dad. I once met a student who had attended a lecture at Harvard that Benazir gave on third world economics and he said that she was by far the best guest faculty that they ever had.

Yup, that is a veery good analysis. Plus when ex-ganja was in Pakistan he always used to have someone close to him when he was giving a speech or interview, so they could tell him what to say. Now practically every one has deserted him, and he has to leave kindergarten and speak for himself.

DR shahid was in PSF during his college days.When Dr saab used to work at jinnah hospital in karachi and was serving as a RMO in a surgical ward he used to look after karachi water and sewerage board( not a small post by any means) during mohtrama's tenure so dr saab was definitely with the PPP some time back i dont know much about his contacts with the party nowadays

In yesterday's "merey mutabiq" while replying to a question, Dr Shahid agreed that he was docile with BB and agressive with Gunja, he justified it by saying that he had previously interviewed BB and was hard on her and the recent interview was only bout deal with gov.
