When that happens, you can bet a 100s/1000s of PTI supporters will leave PTI and NONE of jiyalas will leave PPP.

Anwar sb read the article before jumping on the title, it was a disservice to keep the nationalists away from the previous elections and that has served to increase alienation and deterioration of the problems of the province.

Which nationalists parties participated in the elections, even pmap boycotted. All the parties which boycotted lay blame on nawaz sharif, having said that I wouldn't go as far to say that nawaz sharif is responsible for the insurgency. The alienation of the baloch people has increased due to boycott of the elections by the nationalists. It started during Musharrafs period and taken ahead during ppps regime, I personally believe it would have been better if imran had adopted a more diplomatic approach (silence is gold) on balochistan as the issue is very important.

I am personally disappointed with IK’s speech in Quetta, as it seemed more of rhetoric then solutions. I agree to the logic that the boycott of elections by APDM (Nawaz Sharif was its leader) has played its part in deteriorating the situation in Balochistan as many nationalists (Baloch and Pashtuns) were left out and the void was filled by incapable people. The situation that we have now is due to the operation in Balochistan, killing of Akbar Bugti and the missing persons and their killings. Everyone knows that the situation has been deteriorated by missing persons and their killings, but who is responsible for that? Who killed Bugti, launched operations there and the abducted/killed people? Nawaz Sharif?? We cannot lay blame completely on politicians as the situation is due to heavy handedness of the military plus inefficient politicians.
If he is not willing to acknowledge the problem how will he address it?
He will talk to Baloch separatists although no one amongst them seems to be willing to talk to him.

Addressing a huge public gathering in Quetta, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chairman Imran Khan said Balochistan will prosper if given a chance to rule.
He said incumbent rulers use military forces when they are not capable to handle deteriorating law and order, however, military operation is not solution of every problem.
“Untied States used military force in Afghanistan but failed, similarly India failed in Kashmir” Khan added.
PTI chief said all issues will be resolved through political settlement.He held Nawaz Sharif, the president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, responsible for the current crises including Balochistan issue.
Khan criticized the corrupt political members saying Balochistan received Rs 110 billion in NFC awards but not a single rupee was utilised for the provincial development.
Khan urged Baloch leaders to table their recommendations on the provincial problems.He also sympathised with the family members of missing persons and assured that justice will prevail once PTI comes into power.He said that PTI would spend all the resources of the Balochistan on the people of the province.
