If you believe, that at any point in time, PPP was a BIGGER exponent of restoring CJ than PML-N, then you are fooling yourself.
Eitezaz was the only PPP leader, with strong opinions on restoring CJ. He was sidelined by Zardari, well before the election. PPP still went on to win the election.

Is that why Zardari signed Murree declaration? Do you have comparative analysis how much "bigger" exponent was PML-N than PPP?
Whether or not PPP was bigger exponent, they did support restoration of CJ, case dismissed.
