Yeah right. army will file lawsuit against Mush. Army is part of implementing PCO. Mush is not alone in this mess.

The Nov 3, 2007 PCO, which borne the signature of Gen Pervez Musharraf, claimed: “And whereas the situation has been reviewed in meetings with the prime minister, governors of all the four provinces, and with the Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, chiefs of armed forces, vice chief of Army staff and corps commanders of the Pakistan Army; now, therefore, in pursuance of the deliberations and decisions of the said meetings, I, General Pervez Musharraf, Chief of the Army Staff, proclaim emergency throughout Pakistan. 2) I, hereby, order and proclaim that the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan shall remain in abeyance. This proclamation shall come into force at once.”

LAHORE: The chief of the Pakistan Muslim League-N has called upon the armed forces to distance themselves from former president Pervez Musharraf and not to pre-empt his trial.

‘The military should cut its ties with Musharraf and should itself file a lawsuit against him,’ Nawaz Sharif said at an Independence Day function here on Friday.

‘Those who abrogated the Constitution, damaged the judiciary and arrested judges must be punished,’ he said.

‘If a violator of a traffic signal can be penalised, why a person who violated the basic law of the land should go scot-free,’ the former prime minister argued.

Mr Sharif was speaking at a flag-hoisting ceremony at the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Pakistan.

He urged the government to fulfil its responsibility, saying he saw no need for a unanimous resolution in parliament for bringing the former army chief to the dock.

The government should shed its reluctance, he added. ‘The talk of (Musharraf’s) accountability in parliament must not send shivers down the spine of anyone.’

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani had recently told the National Assembly that the government would prosecute Mr Musharraf for treason only after the house passed a unanimous resolution.

Mr Sharif said Gen Musharraf should be brought to justice for pushing the country into a series of crises by ‘getting Nawab Akbar Bugti murdered and ordering a crackdown on students of Jamia Hafsa’.

Mr Sharif said he, as prime minister, had not been consulted by the army generals over the 1999 Kargil war.

‘I accepted responsibility for the misadventure to rescue the country and the military, but in return I was ousted from power and put in solitary detention before being exiled.’

He said the country could not afford another martial law.

Except for the army, everyone else that Musharraf is calling his co-conspirators have come forward, including Shortcut Aziz and have made it clear they had no say in the imposition of the emergency.

I think its about time the army does the same, or just name the few co-conspirators in the high brass and make them accountable for their actions. And for those that thing army doesnt file lawsuits against its own people, yes they do and there are plenty of corrupt and disgraceful people in the army that are taken out disgracefully.

Judges of high court and S.C. were also confind at Lahore

A case could be registered at lahore at least after the day when PPP impeached Musharraf,

We are already demanding court martial of Ayoub, Yahya, Zia and Musharraf,

Do you remember a day like 3rd Nov 2007.

That was 1988 when Zia dissolved the assemblies but did not announce the date of election against the Consitution, Who suppotred him ?

RAWALPINDI: The leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) Ejaz-ul-Haq has alleged government of hatching conspiracy to avoid trial of former president Pervez Musharraf under article 6 of constitution, saying that the ruling coalition is non-serious to prosecute Musharraf.

To a press conference here, he said even the government seems non-serious to book Musharraf under article 6 of constitution but the action must be taken against him according to the laws enshrined in the constitution of Pakistan.

He hinted at forging coalition with PML-N, divulging his meeting with Quaid PML-N Mina Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was held for the same purpose.

“Though the era of former president General retired Zia-ul-Haq was purely unconstitutional but today, the situation left out by former president Musharraf and, which the people of Pakistan are bound to confront seem even worse than that of Zia”, he claimed.

“The culprits who conspired murder attempts on Musharraf and Shaukat Aziz had been hanged till death but still the conspirators of the martyrdoms of Liaquat Ali Khan and Benazir Bhutto are still at large”, he concluded

I think you are missing the point here. Read the language of PCO.

Only Mush is not responsible as army is 100% part of this nonsense. Those who think that Mush alone is responsible are living in fool’s paradise. Case has no bearing. Mush alone can not be arrested. Army will kick in if some one tries to arrest Mush. Judges have no water in their t to arrest Mush and other high ranking army officers. This will be harbinger of another Marshal Law. Either NS is dam fool or deliberately playing this game to bring down present set up of government.

When army is involved directly in affairs which it should not in the first place, all pakis are hijras to challenge the army of Pakistan for its action. When coutry broke into two who challenged army for breakup? none. Bhutto had become escape goat and was hanged that is what pakis are capable of doing. A BIG HIJRAS.

There was a column by Javaid Ch. the other day, saying I am Hijra by Heart... although i have all the necessary (biological) parts to call myself a man, by heart he is a hijra, one who cannot stand for what is right and just, one who do not stand for weak, one who even do not stand for his right...

Pakistani people can be called Hijras but, again why should they challenge the military rule, the first Military Marshal-Law was after that A$$-hole Ghulam Mohd and Sikander Mirza.. were they any better than Ayoub Khan??? So people hoped for change and they thought this guy ( Ayoub Khan) might give them their rights, but then Same Ayoub was replaced by Yehya Khan, people thought that this Yehya Khan can save the country... and then there was full stop... ZAB ruled for 5 years and he was no different from any dictator... so he was replaced by ZIA, who gave them a concept of Islamic State ( Islam of his own), luckily got killed, but gave us three jokers, NS, BB and Altaf Hussain... now when NS was replaced by Musharaf people thought that this might be the time when military will help them getting rid of these corrupt politicians.. but Mush had some other things in his mind and he turned the country into a war zone... and look who was his replacement.. AZ and NS... F*** how to get rid these Aholes.. we support militarty not because we the Pakistanies were Hijras, it was because we thought the military will kick these Bas***ds out.. but .. u know the rest...

So.. Pakistani people accepted the military rule not because they cannot stand against military, it is because they thought military is there to save them...

Ganja brothers was jumping two weeks ago we gonna put the resolution in the parliment .. now what.. ? these so called suckers can't even support a case against Musharraf let alone talking about activating article 6 !..

No one shall believe that plan for saving Mush has been started.
